also there's no whatsapp on app store when i searched.

@Charlie101291 If you are running new iOS with multitasking (double tap home button to see apps at the bottom) if yet, go to general-> notification and find WhatApps to turn it on for notification for WhatApps :D

However, I suggest getting iPhone 4 or iPhone 4S as the battery life is much better then iPhone 3GS hands down.

@slimjohnify Unfortunately not for Whatsapp, in Whatsapp you need to have their personal mobile number in order to connect with them. So this is for people to use to text personal friends instead of using it as social network...never disclose your mobile numbers to strangers as SMS spams are hard to filter.

@weedfarmer2 hmmm you can add others by adding their mobile number in your contact address book. then go Favorite to find them if they have installed WhatsApp then should appear in your WhatsApp Favorite tab

@ZzScuzzerzZ this is to text to another iPhone or Black Berry with the beta WhatsApp installed :D unfortunately not able to send to other phones.

It's not SMS but a messenger similar to MSN or Yahoo IM but on a mobile level :D

@elliottcorona the verification code will be sent to a valid mobile number registered for Whatsapp. The mobile number must have a country code follow by your number. (e.g. for Singapore +65 123456...)

@nurshuk do you see a green tick beside your message? if a green tick means your message had been sent to server, two green ticks means your friend received it.

If your friend don't reply or you sent to the wrong telephone, try adding country code in front of your friend's telephone number :D
