Go to Newt(dot)org and call his offices and send him a message that we are not slaves and we will NOT pay for the bad investments of multi-billion dollar firms. We will not buy the worthless assets of foreign bankers and brokers.

I have a question... why the HELL is NEwtnot at the top of the ticket?!?!?! he is smarter, more well informed, and more articulate than anyone else out there. He knows issues and has sensible answers. in all of the recent turmoil he is the only one (left or right) not just making partisian attacks.

@downeybill FINALLY!!!! I already donated to the Speaker. The dream now is to have Newt debate Obama. Imagine, the President with his empty sloganeering and abysmal record vs. Newt's strangle hold on the facts and ideas for moving forward and record of achievement (the balanced budgets and prosperity of the 1990's could NEVER have happened without him).

Newt has been very vocal in being AGAINST the bill in the House. He has suggested an alternative plan, so in effect he does support something. Just not THIS plan.
If you have proof otherwise, post it.

I don't have the tape. It was just today. I think he was on Cavuto - either Fox News or Fox Business. Segment was introduced as Newt changing his mind because of how "necessary" it was even though it was a "bad bill", but "better than doing nothing." Same bs you hear all over tv now that the media are all lobbying for the bill.
Yes, he wants some changes but that's meaningless. It's still fascist and unconstitutional and unjust. I am beside myself watching everyone capitulate to FASCISM. Sorry.
