  • love this show. best sketch show on telly by far

  • Priceless...

  • This is pretty damn funny..

  • "...a young lady at street level endeavoring to walk her dog" hahahaha

  • this is priceless, i'd love to shake the hand of the awesome man who came up with this.

  • Dreadfully witty

  • @Dendiol Frightfully, I say

  • WOW

  • We have the same round our end but they're intellectual dustbin men. They hang off the wagon reading various novels by people Tolstoi and Nik Poenna. I have heard them acting out many Shakespeare plays while eating luncheon.

  • ProNUNciation ... but anyway ... :P

  • genius !

  • to everyone trying to type how the builders are talking, can you leave the comedy to the professionals, please?

  • type in Raynor the Scaffolder on you tube

  • Oh, I do so love how Harry and Paul exploit common stereotypes to produce such a marvellously witty sketch. Priceless, old bean.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I spotted a young woman at street level carrying some shopping....

  • Hello old chap - I just wanted to thank you most sincerely for expressing what do indeed appear, at first glance, to be your most honourable intentions towards the young lady at street level to whom you refer in your most recent comment- how refreshing to witness a gentleman wishing to render some gentlemanly assistance to a young lady struggling with shopping in this modern society. You are indeed a gent. Top drawer.................!

  • Pardon the disruption of your rightfully innocent presumptions about my intentions with the young lady struggling with her shopping, but my intentions were to "get into her knickers", as it were.

  • Comment removed

  • Oh, you took me seriously? Well, that was a most unfortunate misunderstanding, such as the like that often appears in comedy sketches.

My intentions were in fact what you originally assumed, and the young lady reached her destination with her shopping intact and no attempt made to rid her of her knickers. I was just attempting a rather weak joke in reference to the deceptively polite nature of the builders portrayed in the above comedy sketch.

  • "pronounciation"-oh, the irony lol

  • Arn't all scaffolders as bright and articulate as these two chaps? Why do scaffolders have a mental age of 10?

  • every scaffolder ive met has been a total caveman. This sketch is spot on.

  • lol, i love this show

  • Why have a few posters used this an an opportunity to belittle tradesmen ? (N.Sea Scaffolders work is particularly hard and dangerous, Ive seen it ,Plumbers/ Mechanics/(Electricians That's me) mostly Carry out their jobs with integrity and dedication,We cant all sit in a big city office jockeying numbers to make money out of some one who is desperate.

  • you toff

  • @stormywindmill what a'ils thee?

  • indeed corfscaff. but, i must say i am appalled by harry's school boy error of doing up the sleeve on the standard before he has stuck the other vertical tube in! stick him back in the chain the fool.

all jokes aside scaffolders are one of the few trades that actually really fucking grafts. you work constantly, never satnding about, constantly rushing and its hard work that destroys your body. i recommend it highly!

  • brilliant funny love it

  • Good show what' what.

  • Oi love!! Dogggystyyylllee!!!!

  • Wicked

  • I for one do prefer the mills right angled load bearing coupler !!!

  • ____________________

  • That was spliffingly marvolous!

  • Jolly good show, indeed, old bean!!!

  • Pip Pip

  • and the filth took away my licence

  • i do say you have a very precise idea on what that most hillarious clip has to offer

  • dreadfully witty

  • that's fucking hilarious

  • a classic example of humour being created through modifying a generally familiar theme, such as the rudeness of builders - the laughter effect perhaps derives from the fact that we actually have very little idea of the conversations which occur between the active parties before and after the sexist remarks. However, it is highly unlikely that the said conversations are of such an intellectual nature, at which point the incongruity theory steps in and transforms our surprise into laughter.

  • i can assure you as a scaffolder it happens all the time we are the greatest minds on earth.

  • then please share you intellectual content inbetween erecting scaffolding and other apparutus that help builders with their difficult task of building architecture.

  • to be honest knowone cares. this is Youtube not a fucking phsychology lesson!

  • I can imagine intelligent conversation can be frustrating for someone who has such trouble spelling the word 'psychology', but there is room in youtube for many kinds of people, not just the ones who find it impossible to write a comment without the word 'fuck' in it.

  • Yeh, but admit it, your initial comment was pretty pretentious for a YouTube comment. Did you honestly expect the average YouTuber to appreciate a word of it?

  • Not the average user, maybe, but some. I do admit it may have sounded a bit pretentious but it was what came to my mind when I saw the video and I wanted to share my opinion with others. I see no reason why this should annoy anyone: if someone doesn't appreciate my comments, they can ignore them.

  • agreed

  • You should help make the humour chip for commander Data from Star Trek. You seem to have a talent for turning humour into a precise sequence of steps.

  • parody is brilliant XD

  • oi elisabeth0123. doggystyle

  • Haha! Classic stuff!

  • i quit uni and graphic design to become a painter decorator, same money, less stress, whats the difference. i'm happy, how about you twatface.

  • I value education but you don't have to go to University to be educated...it helps but its not the be all end all...unless of course you're studying particle physics etc. Best of luck to your business ventures interior decorating wise.

  • fatscumfilth: "scaffolders are a waste of skin, same goes for brickies, builders, plumbers and car mechanics"

what an ignorant wanker you really are. think about what you just said, you tit, and realise what we will be without the likes of them. you moron.

  • Other then the ones who lie(and there are too many of those) They're all hard working honest jobs.

  • elisabeth0123 DOGGYSTYLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
