@reneebrooks13 San Pedro and Wilmas (Wilmington) California. El Monte Auditorium, the Slave Hall in Pedro. The Knights of Columbus Hall, the Kabuki and many more. MidNighters maybe? This is great music I lost all my 45’s of the original versions. Art Laboe, Hunting with Hunter, The Wolfman, HuggyBoy, Los Angeles circa 1965. White Fence, Lan Franco, Under the Bridge, Whittier Blvd. -Cruising, Girls, Estrada Courts- One of my favorites - thanks

@hxo20292 Douche bag! thats my grampa your talking about!!! and jus so you know, he knows his music more then you ever will. unless you show me something that shows your a professional critc then keep your comments to yourself. 99.9% love them and wants a come back except for you who doesnt know anything about great music.
OBVIOUSLY you don't like doo wop oldies, so why do you select them to listen to & then criticize them. Go back to listening to whatever you think is better. WE WON'T MISS YOU!!

Of all the East LA groups, the Perez Brothers are my favorites! They actually took
a NYC doo wop by the New Yorkers 5 that was a killer to begin with and infused it with such LA soul that it blew it away!
