Armageddon is NOT the move you want to use after TC. Grab Great Attractor, charge+blow. It takes a second to charge, but has slight tracking, range, and flight time (the one thing that kills Armageddon).

When you use TC, follow with G.Attractor or Pulsar if they are on the ground. You need to hit them quick, and Armageddon is no way to do it.

in ex mode you hold down "r" and "square" until they freeze :)

some characters have really interesting ex mode abilities. it's good to have a look at them.

Golbez, Sephiroth, AND Bartz are fun to use while in EX Mode. Oh yeah, and Shantotto. Even if you pull off a deadly great magic, she retains ALL Brave.

yeah sure, ultemicia is a awesome range character try convincing your friend to play in a really small stage, thats step one step two is try and stay close to her do nott let her knock you away and three if you still cant beat her then your friend is either a really great player or you suck

She does Apocalypse at 0:23 of this video and she does have Shockwave Pulsar in this, but it's very different (like most of the other named attacks). In Dissidia, she just charges up magical energy and throws it and it explodes on contact. The longer you charge Shockwave Pulsar, the farther it goes.

u dont show it here but i'd like to point out that great attractor is VERY different from the original. In the orginal, it shows her pulling four clestial bodies and slamming them into the party. In dissidia, she charges it like a cannon and launches it fast. the only similiarity is that both contain a celestial body of some sort.

Very nice fight between my 2 favorite spellcasters in this game...you got off you time compression quite a bit... I must know your Skill build that allowed u so much EX and Recovery as i never seem to get ex mode before i kill my enemy. Very nice job

yea, you mean like her history and how she became the time sorceress that she is? Yea, that's not very specific in the game. they probably purposely omitted that info for fanfiction writers to be cretive with it (Square doesnt really mind fanfics of their works, they take it as admiration) or they just didnt relaly think of it. However, her schemes were working throught out the entire game, although she doesn't reveal herself till much later.

I heard that square had originally intended for Ultimecia to have a more dominant role in the story instead of spending most of her time on the sidelines orchestrating the events, but due to time constraints during development Squaresoft was unable to due so, Square only had about a year and a half to work on FF8 while they had about 3 years to work on FF7.

Maybe FF8's storyline may had been better if they had more time to perfect it.

Because there are some obvious plotholes in FF8's story.
