Whats the motion to cancel slide into Ultra 2 like in 0:33? I tried and don't think it's possible to pull off a dash and three extra down motion in such a short time.

@chiamjr Sorry, but it's simply an fadc into down x 3 + kkk. It's not incredibly practical so I wouldn't worry too much about it. :)

@chiamjr It NOT just simply an FADC into ultra 2.

it only works when full stun, and wait alittle until opponent on their knee (which when u hit, teh opponent will bounce in the air) Then u oil slide & right away FADC into ultra 2

If u just oil slide FADC, it WONT "juggle" the opponent enough air time for you to do ultra 2

@ChaoticRupture Wildcat beat Daigo with Hakan, has more than 5000 PP and 20000 BP. Hakan does suck against, for example, Abel and Honda, but he's pretty solid against a lot of characters.

@ChaoticRupture Fortunately, the game is fairly well balanced, so even with a low tier character, you can win. I've beat plenty of people with 3000+ PP online. I have fun doing it, regardless of anal people who think that tier is everything.

@nickyboy909 Personally, I use hp oil slide to trade with projectiles from a certain range. It's worth it, as you get a knock down, do more damage than they do and even have time to lk oil up usually. It's fast enough to be, on occasion, the better option. But yeah, lp and mp are generally better, although EX is best of all even when unoiled. You just have to adjust to the weird range on its unoiled state.

One noteworthy thing is that wake up oil dives don't work on people if they let themselves stand up naturally. At least, it doesn't work on Makoto or Cody because they take longer to stand up in my experience. But, then again, who wants to leave their feet exposed to Hakan slides.

hey man, great guide to hakan. it takes an advanced player to make low tier work. the last option select with the F + RH will probably be fixed in a DLC. the one where you get a free tech. once again, mad props.
