  • I have enjoyed your videos of your visit to Jamestown. I have lived here all my life, but sad to say never have went to a Lucy Event.. I love her and Desi for all of their wonderful movies and TV shows. Hopefully I soon find some time to visit some of my hometown sites. Thanks for the visual...

  • Is Desi buried with Lucy or is he buried in California?

  • I wonder about this also...can someone please let us know?

  • no desi is not in Jamestown hes at LA

  • Good old Jamestown and I Love Lucy. Saw here when she and Desi came to Jamestown 1956. No longer J-town resident.

  • JAMESTOWN OR BUST!! July 31 thru August 4th!!!

    WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • So Is Lucy's body still in Jamestown? or is it still in California?

  • It has been in Jamestown since 2002

  • Hi Fred and Jim:

Loved the video. I am the Ethel you have pictured coming down the street with an oven "Pioneer Women". If you are considering a visit, please do, MOST of the people of Jamestown are wonderful and very proud of the first daughter of Jamestown. YES Lucy is from Jamestown. Lucy was BORN in Jamestown and was raised in Celeron. Ethel

  • WE ALL LOVE LUCY AND DESI!

  • haha this is great...now whenever i feel like i miss home i can watch youtube...no idea so many videos on here

  • Im from Jamestown NY. Lucy is not from Jamestown, she is from Celeron, near Lakewood. Let me tell you, no one in Jamestown cares about lucy, only the ones who want to make money off of stupid people.

  • you idiot, stop being jealous

  • No, Lucy was born in Jamestown in her grandparents appartment on Harrison Street (Swede Hill). Lucy herself states this in her autobiography "Love, Lucy".

Yeah, Jamestown is trying to make a buck off of their famous daughtert, but so what? What else is the town famous for? It was once "The Furniture Manufacturing Capital Of The World". And that's all gone now. Might as well make money off the memory of Lucy, who never much cared about Jamestown either, only returning to visit once in 1956.

  • My reply was to Curstina's post.

  • Aww, I've been to Jamestown twice. :-)

  • I want to go to the Lucy Desi Museum!

  • This was such a cute video! I went to Lucy-Desi Days 2 or 3 years ago and it's so much fun. This brought back all the memories and I can't wait to go again! Was your tour guide's name Lucy by any chance? Your tour guide looked like the one I had so I was wondering.

  • Yes her name was Lucy, she said though that she was not named after Lucy though.

  • I would love to go there someday!

  • Thank you for posting this video. Its was very touching watching lucy's grave along with her family. Long live Lucy!
