I try not to compare Pearl Jam's albums because you really can't. They are all different in their sound because, as we know, Pearl Jam is a band that likes to experiment. I think that they are all good in their own way. Sure, Pearl Jam have made mistakes in their career, but which band hasn't? And the good thing about mistakes is, you can only learn from them, which Pearl Jam have. Oh, and does anyone know what song is played about seven and a half minutes in? It sounds great.

@bigE69er Binaural is one of their best albums in my opinion, the great thing about PJ is that there really is no bad album, and it makes it very hard to rank them....Vitalogy is their best, but after that its all ties haha

Riot Act was okay...but songs like Help Help, Get Right, Bushleaguer, 1/2 Full...were seemingly just throwaways...I Am Mine, Can't Keep, Thumbing My Way, and Green Disease are all good though..
I don't know what that guy is talking about...their self-titled is much better. The only throwaways there are Come Back and Wasted Reprise (which is supposed to be a filler track). Life Wasted, WWS, Severed Hand, Inside Job, etc...some of their best stuff!

Every album is a classic in its own way. I feel I myself have grown alongside the music and the same songs have had different meanings at different times so I can relate to and remember my own life with a Pearl Jam soundtrack! That is why to me they are the best band ever!and sell-outs? That couldn't be further from the truth-check the history.
Another album that I love, that isn't that popular is No Code, I listened to it while everyone else just put it down. You're right, riot act is a great album and over looked, no doubt about it. Thumbing my way is just a great song, along with I am mine, the album is just great to listen to. What do you think about Pearl Jam's latest? Seems to go back to its earlier work.
Jes. Ok, Pearl Jam does have other good albums besides just Riot Act. Riot Act is probably not their "pinnacle." I think Vs. and Vitalogy are definetly up there.
