@ Freestyleboy. I wasn't aware you could steal a culture. I'm black, but i'm perfectly ok with anyone who wants to dance hip hop or eat fried chicken, haha. You're right, we should all stick to our own culture and try really hard not to enjoy or appreciate anyone else's.

I don't think anyone stole Latin dance, but I do think Europeans and Russians included improved it a lot! Look at the top 6 couples in Blackpool. Not one is not European.

@gingermist21 I guess whatever they did the judges like, I mean the Donnie Burns,Shirley Ballas era dancers, because they mark them higher than other couples. The couple representing England are Russian, couple from USA Russian and Italian. 2 couples from Russia and Polish champions and the rest are from Croatia, Italy, Germany or oh yeah, Russia. So I guess they must be doing something the judges like, since they are the ones marking them.

hey!i think you don't know what are you talkin about...Anna Firstova and Alexei Silde they are one of the most elegant latin couple ever!he is very atletic and she is very very feminine you don't evan know how mutch sweat and tears are beyond a single step!

I do Ballroom and Latin American dancing, I also do Ballet, Tap, Modern and Jazz. Therefore i do know how much sweat and tears are beyond a single step! It's my opinion, if they are so good how come they place lower than everyone else. My opinion :)

Yeah. In fact, they suck at dancing so much that they just finished third in the european championships this year.

(Though I have to say I would've personally placed them sixth to fifth in all other dances except cha cha cha. They are so unexciting to watch nowadays. It's a well rehearsed packag but it really misses spontaneous moments.)
