I really don't know what is going on here in the UK. Thank you. That is very kind of you and I shall return the kindness. And, Yes, I am. I have also been attacked here when I was overheard to be Catholic. I was told to leave and given a black eye. The cop actually told me that I shouldn't provoke people and should keep my beliefs to myself and walked away with the GUY that did it laughing and acting like he was his best friend. Unbelievable.

The catholic church has not had a legal pope since the early 60's! They have all been heretics and apostates.

there are a lot of ways to serve the Lord, our God. We need to accept a very long time fact that priesthood was only instituted for males. If anyone can hardly accept this inevitable truth, then, he or she may go to our religious denomination which accepts female priest. As told my the Apostle Paul, every believer has a place in Church, "we are the body, Christ is the head." Priesthood is only for males as being a nun is exclusive for females.

What a VERY SAD video! The church looks like a garden shed. The woman fiddles around with the blessed sacrament as if she was doling out sweeties. It is all so sad. No wonder the churches are empty!

Jesus Chose 12 disciples to spread the good news, & 4 to write the canonical gospels..
All of them were men.
He found peace & love among women followers, who wiped his tears, washed His feet with tears and precious perfum, followed Him to the feet of the cross, wept before Him on His way to golgotha...and He gave back freedom and dignity to all women. His Mother is an example on how Jesus raised women and dignified them.
For all who claim that it's the Church's fault, I say:

My goodness what a terrible thing to say about the Church Christ established on Peter, the rock! I suggest you find out how the Holy Scripture came to be. If you do not recognize the authority of the Catholic Church, then you can not recognize the Bible. Learn about the early church fathers, the early Christians, and the Faith in general before you profane what is sacred in the eyes of the Creator and in the hearts of those who profess such Faith.

It also describes many things 'to a t'. It isn't fair to those reading these posts to argue, but no one can deny many atrocities in the NAME of the Church, but that can be said of all religions. After all, many saints were also burned in the name of Protestantism in Endland. I would invite you to be a skeptic and really investigate these claims in their proper context. People are fallible. The Magisterium is not.

She has not been the Great Harlot all the while. It is what she became with the coming of Vatican II and all the apostate popes that have been in the church. The last true pope was Pious XII who died in 1958. It has only been so since then.

Sorry, I forgot something. A few years back I heard the present pope make a statement about how women were actually being honored by not allowing them to become priests. If you have to do mental gymnastics to believe something then it simply is not true and silence would have been a more honest answer/explanation for him to offer. Jesus died to take away our sins, not our minds.

In all my adult life Ive never understood why women would want to darken the door of a Catholic Church. A Church that views women as little more than servants of men and as a means of making more little chauvinistic bastards like themselves. Why they would ever support something like that, or send their children to something like that, is simply beyond me. Its a strange old World I suppose.

Though i do not fully agree with the ideas of Monica, I laud her decision not to be swallowed by pride and sought "ordination." Every woman has the freedom to wish that they may be "ordained", but there is no hope for this. Jesus did not ordain a woman; likewise, the Church cannot ordain a woman. Yet, women have so much to contribute in the Church.

If these are their calling, then so be it.
After all, Church ministry is not all about competition for power. It is about SERVICE.
At the end of the day, the service rendered for women to priests or whoever in the Church end up to benefit the entire community of faithful.
It is in man's nature that he can be priest just as it is in woman's nature that she can be a mother. Foolish for me to complain that I cannot bear a child for I am a man but I can be of service as a parent/father.

Its not a womans choice to have a womb; its the result of her biological makeup. So in other words she was born that way. Your argument is the outcome of putting faith in the realm of cultural construct. I do not maintain this for it is unreasonable and untrue. Faith in a God is the cause and part of our nature; it is the cause and part of our biology. This is a faith in a God who deigned a woman to have a womb and thus capable of getting pregnant. He is the same God who deigned a man to have the calling to the ministerial priesthood and thus capable of becoming a priest.

Those who have brains could not disprove that things on earth are caused by an uncaused cause.

Exactly, Forestking! I am a housewife. I "scrub..floors, make the food and wash the dirty knickers" of three other people because I answered the call to SERVICE when I married and when I became a Christian. The Blessed Virgin did the same and rejoiced that she was able to serve. I am not interrested in usurping the shepherdhood my husband provides. I serve because I love, not because I am indentured and suppressed.Folks at my parish consider it a family honor to give time to clean the church.

To say that priesthood is limited to men only is to say that Christ was incarnate as a male and not as human. But the loopy Right dont get theological nuance, they are only on about the idolatry of ideology.
Until women are orddained as priest the full understanding of The Incarnation is crippled.

Clearly this woman has been doing good things, does it matter what religion she believes in? Or religions she want to be involved in? Pope John paul himself went to pray in a Synagogue, and a Mosque.
If we can just forget all these labels and remember that we are all humans. But in the end all of this will be determined by my generation.

Also, just 2000 years doesn't grant an organization truthfulness. Islam has more or less than 15 centuries, and freemasonry has been around since 1717. Celtic's where pre-Jesus. It is a tragedy that you are so confused about your vocation. But having strong feelings of a desire for something does not give one the right to it. One could bleed with a desire to be the queen, but that wouldn't change anything. Priesthood by its nature is reserved to men. I am sorry that this is so difficult for you.

It is also not fair to lump antichrist heretic perverts like JPII and B16 into the same category as those as St Pius X, who did speak and transmit the words of God faithfully, not changing the deposit of Faith but following Luke 10:16, "He who hears YOU, hears ME."
