They are not for everyone. They are very strongwilled, independent dogs. You have to understand that getting them to obey you takes a great deal of work, and a lot of patience & even then it may not work ;). Many dogs are bred to obey, and listen to you, the Shibas are not one of them.
@TayTayD107 They are not for everyone. They are very smart, and very stubborn. They shed A LOT. They are hard to train, you have to work with them, not over power them. If you aren't willing to have a challenge, you shouldn't get a shiba, you should opt for a dog that' s more accustom to obedience.
