Instead of actually having to think, Ryan took the easy path, gave Samuel the character he had already designed for Cameron (which is WAY evident in Samuel's character, it screams Cameron, not Samuel), and got rid of the person everyone loved.

I have been compared to both Adele and Hannah at school, (I am a readhead on the heavy side) and it really pisses me off that automatically, their voices are paired together. I love them both, and they both have wonderful voices, but they are definitely not the same people. Give them their due credit.

And I feel like, from this competition, Ryan Murphy wants someone new and fresh because there are many types of underdogs. Taylor's songs are easy to sing along to, i find the lyrics always easy to memorize and get with the flow, but to actually sound good and whatever is a totally different story. there isnt much range (like wildfire said) it was NOT a good choice of song for her, T's songs are just hard to sound good if its not HER.
