  • How is it that anything negative you say about them is supposedly an exaggeration and a stereotype but the positive things you say must be true and get a thumbs up? Some things are stereotypes and some things are cultural norms. Many of the girls from the traveller culture have confirmed the blatant sexism and they fully admit to not teaching girls anything but to grow up and get married young. Being open minded about other cultures is one thing-being blind to their faults is another.

  • Whiteboy disapproves!

  • Y don't they show actual episodes like with geogr Lopez !?!?!

  • So umm...What the fuck is a Gypsy?

  • How old is she?!? 00:21

  • 0:42

  • 0:47 XD BAHHAHA

  • you know there's some irish travelers traveling it up in texas. They're just like SUPER rednecks with strange accents who come up to you in a parking lot and try to weasel your car insurance info for some "repairs" for some porblems they notice on a new car. Or leave roofing jobs undone and run off with the money. Or embezzle money by from the city of white settlement, TX. and TOTALLY get away with it.

  • These are all Irish Travellers not British gypsies

  • Przesadzone to całe cygańskie weselisko. A te dziewuchy nie wyglądają na porządne, zachowują się jak najgorsze ździry. Śluby niemal jak królewskie rodziny, a własnego kąta na ziemi nie mają. Żenada...

  • why are all those girls dressed like sluts?

  • @warrior1564 are you jalors off the beautiful girls

  • Comment removed

  • @warrior1564 becorse they are very beautiful end youre so jealous off this girls ugly girl hahahahaha a gypsy from the netherlands

  • U people jus cant under stand r wey uf life

  • Were all through america weve beeb here fer ages

  • whores b that!

  • Looks like southern rednecks from America..

  • I am a southern girl from Mississippi and I love this show...and yes I do see the values of the gypsy culture,...there is no child neglect going on, family comes first..and the dresses are awesome.

  • @dbmays lmfao

  • @dbmays These are not Gypsies byt Irish travellers.

  • @dbmays But they have no education, no respect for their mothers, wives or sisters, and recently the police in England raided a Gypsy site and found 8-10 slaves kept in flithy condidtions. The gypsy community didn't just abuse those men, they also have been plagued by cases of child abuse. You cannot look at this show alone and think you know everything about a community, they all have their dark sides.

  • @curlzferrero

Recently, night crews have been abused by big retail companies, a famous politician broke international law and hasn't been arrested for it, and belgian police used gestapo methods to seize evidence from priests.

You're right to say that every human community has its dark sides, because every human community is, and will be imperfect, but refusing to acknowledge the good in people will only make you miserable.

P.S.: I think they're abused here just because they're different.

  • @dbmays wife neglect? or to put it another way domestic abuse? thieving off innocent members of the publicy? condemning women to a life spent entirely catering for their (usually) drunken/criminal husbands in their pokey caravan? Children pushed into a lifestyle; dancing in heels and whore regalia from a VERY young age? Men pressurized into fighting and harming each other to attain 'family valour'? Tax evasion? sexually harassing a girl and after having done so claiming her as your bride?

  • @CapcherIt

    1. "Publicy" isn't a word.

    2. "Wife neglect" is when you bed someone out of wedlock, then refuse to help raise the child. This happens most often in big cities.

    3. Every other thing you said is a stereotype; an exaggeration of the worst that a culture has to offer. It would be like me calling all frontiersman murderous, cattle-russling, bloodthirsty indian-haters. Most of them were just ordinary dudes trying to make it through life without starving to death on the prairie.

  • That dress at 1:10 is beautiful!!!

  • Oh yeah they're in America! Working in upper class retail you see them all the time.

  • but there are gypsies in america! they're all over jersey! :p

  • @atareg Get outta here. Didn't know they were in Jersey. Do they travel alot or are they set in one place?

  • @dreid1500 lol! i meant that as a joke :) the exaggerated fashion and tanorexic look is what made me think of jersey

  • @atareg Haaa, that is funny, cuz I was raised in Newark, NJ. Gone forever now though, especially after I got robbed while on leave years ago.

  • @dreid1500 you're from jersey? lol...i just watched a show today called Tabatha's Salon Takeover or something like that, and someone talked smack about Jersey only to find out that Tabatha, who'd overheard, is from there. hope i didn't offend you! i love their accents!

  • @atareg No offense taken here. I have been living in the south by way of the military (Ft Bragg, NC and many other places in the south). I tend to think I have lost most of my accent until someone mentions it. Newark, New Jersey is my hometown and I love the life I had, however to stay there is like going back to Iraq or Aphganistan because you have to always be on alert, not to mention around the clock guard duty on my car. You gotta love it or hate it.

  • @dreid1500 lol...jersey's a wild place, i guess. i'd love to visit it someday!

i love watching those crazy housewives from new jersey and it's the home state

of the band, my chemical romance - not to mention the legendary bon jovi! it's awesome!

  • there is absolutly nothing about gypsies,

  • To complain to OFCOM

  • @XoxSlutyBunnyxoX theyre not tryna be gypsies. they r irish travellers, a seperate allbeit similar culture

  • I'm just going to say it, I really love those dresses. Sure, they look like they could kill you if you stepped on the him. And sure, they look kinda ridiculous, but still, they look pretty damn hot.

  • @Rosebunse agreed.

  • Oh, they have gypsy blood. This is the result of assimilation after 600 years. Can't blame them because it was even punishable by death to be a gypsy.

  • @yamunahhh Well I guess it depends on where you are and what stations you have IK where I lives it's SUNDAY. @ briebo99 I would just check the dish guide and see.

  • what channel is it on for DISH NETWORK?? Is it TLC or somethin else?

  • @brieboo99 It is on the TLC channel I think it comes on on sundays. I seen a preview and I like "for real?!" the whole time lol

  • @Tadoow11 I didn't even think gypsies were still around. And while this show may not show them in their best light, it does make Americans more aware of their existence and problems. And I really love those dresses.

  • @Rosebunse gypsys still thrive in many areas of the world...eastern europe, greece, just to name a few...when i was last in greece i saw a few gypsy families out and about in the villages..but they do indeed exist and have a flourishing culture...

  • @yumlemonjuice Yeah, but we don't have many in the US or in this hemisphere of the world. And they don't get too much attention around here. But I'm sure Europeans would be somewhat surprised at rednecks...You learn something different everyday.

  • pause at 0:48 for kid grabbing a dick.

  • what the fuck is a gypsy

  • what the heck! i wanna see this! but don't know how?!

  • @echoo08

you wna go to channel 4od
