the original agreement was to have 300 wolves in Idaho Montana and Wyoming, the wolf population is in the thousands, just like any other animal they must be managed. Wolves were native in almost all of North America so are they only in my back yard not those that live in New York City

@Downedworker The wolves introduced into Yellowstone are Canadian Greys, not the native Canis Lupus Irremotis that was here before the "new" wolves killed them all and started killing Horses, Cows, and pets in the Dunoir Valley, Dubois, WY.. These giant dogs are systematically wiping out our Big Game animals.....also beloved in the Park....not just the wolf! The Elk, Moose, and Deer are disappearing from Yellowstone because the wolves are sport killing and leaving the meat to rot!
hmm, lemme see, 200 less wolves means 6000 elk will survive, 800 moose, and a pile of deer (they can eat some of those). Not to mention a domestic cow a day in Montana.
