if your making a cowboy hat from a cherry burl im sure youve used a chainsaw a few times. sure its good to use safety gear but he was cutting brush swinging the blade back and forth.

Nice looking burl. Would like to see some better safety...especially when stabilizing the wood with your 'sneaker'. I might recommend cutter boots, chaps and putting your faceshield down
