I love how the entire comic is inked with purple and green in places. So very Joker-esque

There's no official origin story for the Joker. But for those of you who want to know Joker's past then I'd totally recommend reading this. Personally I prefer not to know Joker's origins since his backstory kindof humanizes him, but this is just my opinion. In any case, this was a very good comic, and a big turning point in the series for sure

The only reason why i wouldn't believe this is because of the movie "the dark knight". In it, about halfway through the movie, you see the joker with regular skin, when he's shooting the gun at the ceremony.

Just remember that the Joker has no real past. Nobody really knows who he is or what happened to him.

I love this my favorite "explanation for the joker" but its isnt to really explain it all , just an idea of "if there was a backstory for the joker "what would it be?" and the alan moor came up with this, but the jokers minde got messed up "If Im going to have a past I prefer it to be multiple choice" and also the dark knight scrip was really based on this graphic novel, (heath ledger himselfe said it )

@void735 well if you have made a better send it or make it :), bit seriously I doubt you have seen any better because every single story that tells how the joke became the joker (I mean since the first movie and other comics) are based on this alan moor novel even the "best batman movie yet" the dark knight had its joker based on this novel, but it isnt supposed to fully explain how he became the joker

@void735 well wth my one joker before becomeing what he was grew up in a run down town a drunk stepdad and a mother who worked as a strip club, after geting sick of his life he killd his family and set the house on fire after geting alway from his home town he made his way to Gotham city and met a crime boss to kill betmans family wich he did and done after that he made his own terrorist cord cold the red hoods and had the same suit as he did in KJ and his man hade the under the red hood ones

@void735 and after years of working as the red hood a crime boss cord corwell told him to take down a toxic plant but unkown to red hood cord well set it as a trap for him to get killd and belive him to be uselease after the police came and killd some of his man he triped to get alway but batman triped to stop him and red hood got his gun saying he will kill him if he came closer and triped over a poll and fell in the toxic's and made it back to his hideout and becmae the joker
