The reason the "Guy from the Future" seems like he is from the future is because he is watching the game on a Standard Definition TV. Everyone else in the room is watching the HD TV. The HD Television has 2-3 seconds of video lag behind the Low Def Television. Thus, he saw the goal before the other people in the room.
