  • ok, thats what i wanted to hear, and yep, im just waiting for a cheap one to pop up somewhere. thanks for the advice sensei

  • ok ok i thought that was creating leaky cracks and stuff around the fin box. quick question hull master: ive never ridden a hull before but i want to get into it at some long california point waves. id want a pure hull, im tall and weigh 175, what length should i be looking at? somewhere between 6'8 and 7'4 sounds good to me. what u think? thanks

  • @k311y5m1th

Thanks but I'm a Hull Padawan..:-)

You can't go wrong with a 7'0. It's the bar, basically. You're my weight so any 7'0 Liddle will be fine. I ride them up to 7'6 and down to 6'8 for a pointbreak setup. 6'10 is a favorite length for some as well. Buy used before you go custom. Good Luck and happy hulling.

  • It's the resin bed flexing against the fin box. I had a stringerless that did it too but there wasn't any problems. Sometimes it pops on hard bottom turns and it's happened to me turning really hard with a poly board too. Just one of those things I guess...never leaked on me so....

  • so now u have to repair your fin box??
