I remember saving up for one of these back in high school. I got one for $80, and loved it. The headphones that came with it were really good, too. I wish Rio/SonicBlue was still around - I always thought they were the only ones that could compete with Apple.

I pick one of these up years ago for 80 bucks.
It still works and still have tons of space left on it. I use it with external speakers while I'm working. I've dropped it and left it out in the freezing cold and it's stillgoing. The battery is pretty weak though, so I have to keep it plugged in.
