(part II of my last comment) :: So I would like to know how to take my place and perform some solo in clawhammer when plying with a band... but really I dont know how to do that other than switching to fingerpicking.... do you have tutorials or suggestions for that matter ??? Thanks a lot for everything you've done on youtube so far, please keep going...
I enjoyed this exercise on phantom effects and rest very much. If you have any more exercises related to this. Please share. This was great. Thank you very much!
Have to wait till tommorow to work on this. It's 10 til midnight. Thanks for another fine and well taught lesson. Not everyone plays well can teach. From what I've seen and heard you are a natural born teacher and I love seeing you play because you make it obvious (not like some musicians) that for you it is pure joy to play.P.S. Some may think I've been skulking or hiding in the weeds on this site...not the case at all just not very techno savy. been here for about 3 months now Thanks again

I feel silly for asking, but is that "Scotland the Brave" you're playing after you put on that awesome hat?

Nice. You just resolved my hiccups with complex drop thumb runs, and quadrupled my phantoms in one fell swoop. Thanks Patrick.
