I did think Adventureland was charming, though Kristern Stewart played pretty much the same character as Bella Swan (annoying,) I look more for plot than CGI so Avatar was not impressive though I tip my hats to the technicians. Inglorious Bastard was too gory, but being a Quentin Tarantino it was expected. I think he was pretty close to how I would rate them.

Avatar was eye candy. But I can't knock eye candy... that's how movies got started in the first place. No story, character, or plot, just people doing stuff. However, at this point in movies, there should be more to go along with the picture. Avatar had some of the worst dialogue I've ever heard, not to mention all the horribly 2 dimensional characters. Gah, I can't believe Brothers was your best. I think it was the actor who ruined that movie for me, mr brokeback mountain. Actors aside Hurt Locker was so much better. Brothers was awkward it seemed like all the emotion was so fake, even with a few professional actors in the mix it still seemed faked it was too hard to take their little world seriously. Hurt Locker on the other hand was the exact opposite.
