Hey, I transferred my Oktoberfest to the secondary fermentor a couple of days ago and I was wondering if the color of yours changed quite a bit from doing this, mines gone from a copper color like you described to a much darker color, Im assuming that it's just clearing
The color may change slightly, but I am pretty sure it shouldn't darken up. I guess it's possible but hasn't happened to me yet. Just keep an eye on it. If you are putting it into a glass carboy it will look darker than it actually is in the glass when you drink it. Just be patient and let me know how it looks when you bottle it. Also I am assuming you are using a glass carboy because if you are using something like a plastic bottling bucket you should not be opening it.
I actually have had a few bottles of it all ready... its not very good. I havn't put up the review yet because i am going to review another homebrew with it.
