  • Forgot to mention 4 "The Beach Boys" concert, the crowd was estimated at around 60,000 people!!!

  • I went to the Beach Boys concert just last night, July 16, 2009! I can assure you that it's not only "Mike Love, but Bruce Johnston was with him too!!! It was the Beach Boys!!! I saw the "original" Beach Boys 35 years ago in Toronto & the MC was none other than "Wolfman Jack"!!!

And yes the "original" Barbara Ann is by "The Regents" in 1959...By the way, it sure as hell sounded like the Beach Boys last night...

  • rocky horror ur the bigest dumb ass ever you fuck stop talking about things you know nothing about we all know u dont know what ur talking about ur inbaressing urself. The Regents wrote it the beach boys covered it way way before the who. like in the late 50s early sixtys. the recorded it after and was... it way ok so was The Regents but i think the beach boys did it best

  • actually you are all wrong, I WROTE BARBARA ANN. I was Shirley McClain in a former life.

  • This aint the Beach Boys folks..a sad imitation only..piss on you Mike Love

  • True, "The Regents" wrote this in 1958...

But does it really matter after 50 years?

What matters is there is an eternal hit called "Barbara Ann", admired by millions and that exists due to Brian Wilson's genius.

It is the "Beach Boys"'s masterpiece that is and will be covered by hundreds of professionals and just fans...

With all my due respect to "The Regents" and "The Who".

    What a bliss...

  • Uh.. yeah... The Regents wrote this song.... The Who covered it and then The beach boys covered it.

    All versions are great.

  • Great, I forgot that!

  • Barbara Ann was written by Fred Fassert and the original hit version was done by The Regents

  • @rockyhorror098 you are dumb Fred Fassert of the Beach Boys wrote that song, not the WHO, they did a cover for it, the beach boys were well before the WHO

  • @rockyhorror098 you are an idiot Fred Fassert of the Beach Boys wrote that song, not the WHO, they did a cover for it, the beach boys were well before the WHO

  • @rockyhorror098

"Barbara Ann" was wrritten by Fred Fassert and performed (as "Barbara Anne") by The Regents in 1961. The Who didn't form until 1964.

  • This is the Mike Love show. Sure aint the Beach Boys.

  • Beach boys rocks!

  • Brian Wilson is GOD!!! Mike Love is a bald talentless man..all male americans who can decently sing when surrounded by the Wilson brothers will surely be a star! Bur Mike Love never even was! He will surely DIE an insecure man. Oh I hope he dies this year.

  • This is from a show in Monterrey?

  • Are you kidding, Love's in heaven with this band. He doesn't have to listen to Carl or Al. It's a shame what its become. Watch Knebworth Live, thats The Beach Boys!

  • The Knebworth DVD is available and is called Good Timing--it is excellent.

  • we're friends of the band...don't be so hateful

  • Not being hateful. Brian Wilson is The Beach Boys! You all know it! SO now stop misleading the kids by listening to Mike Love singing Brian Wilson's music! All the kids think Mike Love's Beach Boys sang the songs! Can u imagine that??!!That is so evil!! Ok let him rake in all the money! But your friends are FAKES!!!

  • Sad that the Beach Boys once equal to the Beatles resort to having bimbos come on stage shaking their 'money makers' aroung masturbating with band instruments. I think even Mike Love looks disgusted.

  • *cough* hater *cough*

  • ANd you are a Mike Love Lover hehehe u balding talentless gay

  • Wow, It's a small world, great show!!

  • hey that's me with the guitar in your video...and thats my sister on the right! haha that is so awesome...check out my other video!

  • which one? the one who was given the guitar or the guy on the left?
