Hey Kevin and Modern West. I was at BVJ when the storm hit, we were lucky enough to be be okay and have nothing lost but our chairs. We were in the Bar at karaoke getting ready to leave to come watch you guys, i told my mom and friends that we have to go now, i knew the storm was going to be bad, and before we could leave the wall hit us and we were trapped in the bar. All we could hear were screams that was one of the scariest moments of my life.
As a country music fan & someone who has never been to BVJ, it is extremely heart-warming to know that artists like Kevin Costner & Modern West are remembering what happened & keeping the people that were affected by it in their thoughts and prayers. Things like this are a huge reminder that it doesn't matter who we are or what we do, we are all human & anything can happen. Thank you Kevin & the boys for an insightful look back on what happened and for having the courage to come back.
Great video guys! Been a long time supporter of the BVJ in Camrose. This was quite emotional to watch. Glad you are all safe and we look forward to seeing you there! All the best from us and the guys in the Deric Ruttan Band.
