Dynasty is the very essence of 1980's decadence, materialism, oppulence, and the ultra-rich and wealthy in America. The weekly clothing and fashion budget was outrageous for it's time and day as nothing could compare to today's standards in televsion shows. Exotic locations and shootings were filmed on a regular basis. And as many well know, the Carrington Mansion is based in Denver, but the "real" mansion is the Filoli Mansion outside of San Francisco.

Nope, Filoli is just south of SF...about half way to SJ. Just over the hills from Half Moon Bay.

@YogaNate79 I can tell you from personal experience, I used to play at this house when I was a kid around 7-8 years old. My father was in the 82nd Airborne division in the seventies and moonlighted at night as a security gaurd for Marvin Davis. This is his and Barbara Davis' mansion in Denver. The ultra rich would hire military personelle as security. I know every inch of that house. They eventually moved to Beverly Hills and bought "The Knolls". Brandon Davis and Jason Davis are granchildren

This is my favorite tv music theme. My Dynasty I remember when I was young in Jamaica Dynasty came on monday nights, there was not a lovelier sound heard. Bill Conti is a musical genius. More than 20 years later Dynasty theme is still the best of all time. My favorite tv show ever. I can say I lived to see my favorite tv show and heard the best theme music. Thank you for making this video so I can hear my Dynasty music one more time everytime I want to hear.
