I really liked this. Thank you for creating it. I always find it fascinating to watch other's interpretation of songs like this. Every song is a story unique to the listener and it's wonderful when someone gets those images out of their head and on to film.

ya this is a thoughtful video and i agree with inmytree. i believe it is about a relationship ending or seeing an end. because of the december sun is setting cause im not who i used to be. no longer easy on the eyes. i think the december sun is possibly a reference to "may to december" relationship. like a short relationship.

While the song is about growing old, it's also about how time defines a relationship..where at one time it might have been passionate, exciting and euphoric, often times all of that newness fades and everything settles. It feels like you and your significant other have become 'brothers'... but have lost the passion of being 'lovers'.

the only thing was when you were filming the part with the taking the light from the sky, you could see your reflection in the window. you could try moving the camera angle next time.

Very nice video work. I love this song and have been kind of obsessed about it lately. I read your interpretation of it. To me it means something like that, but a little different. To me it's about how people fall in love and everything is wonderful....for a while. And then it kind of dissipates and you just become life partners. It's not as intense as it once was. "you may tire of me...I'm not who I used to be."

People change as they get older. You're 19. I'm 47 and married for 23 years. This is my interpretation. "now he lives inside someone he does not recognize". Even he can't believe how he's changed and how his relationship has changed. and "like brothers on a hotel bed". You simply say "good night" to one another. There's no more passion, really. You love eachother....but it's not the same.
