  • What a rich heritage we have in these powerful hymns/songs...we must keep them alive...for their are the footprints from our past and the gateway into our future and the daily bread of our present!

  • ya'll know you not supposed to be talking in the choir stand... mics pic up all that stuff lol

  • People be sleeping on the Baptist style of having some good ole fashion church.

  • oh bless the lord this song is the truth aint nothing like some good old traditional singing

  • Leonard is a Beast on the Organ. He got a couple Videos on youtube

  • Dr. Lou Della Evans-Reid is a beast lol

  • The entire Evans family is blessed. Rev. Evans is a blessed preacher and Dr. Lou Della Evans-Reid is a beast of a choir director. To God be the glory.

  • Great video, I hope you have the other one about Angels, I can't recall the rest of the wods. I grew up in Chi town and the choir I was with would have the Battle of the Ships and we only won once. What you see of Clay Evans is what he is, sincere and warm w/o any pretensions- when Jesse moved 2 Chgo , he joind. I don't no if he's still here;when U were on Princeton Av years ago, Clay Evans could preach, the choir cd sing & sisters cd cook well. MaB we cd

pay tribute w/ a program EM Me uwant

  • Yes Yes Yes!!!! Amen

  • Thank you Bro Rollins for sharing this...for those of us over 60yo this brings back many memories. What a blessing to my soul to hear this old song of Zion.

  • brother your videos are a blessing to the planet. keep up the good work!!!

  • This is a nice song. The lyrics have meaning. Does anyone think the words are encouraging or uplifting? I realize the music is touching however is the Word comforting? This is more important.

  • This takes me back to watching my grandmother singing this in the senior choir

  • Oh my Lord, be still my heart!! That organist at Fellowship is somethin' One of the best in gospel! Thank you for posting this (and everything else as well) I love Rev Evans so much. God bless!

  • Up until Rev. Evans' retirement, Pierre Walker was the primary organist at The Ship; however, you must remember that Fellowship drew the baddest musicians and singers around. So, you just never knew who might show up. Eric Thomas typically shows up for Rev. Evans, especially for this song (which he also recorded with Pastor Evans and the Choir on the "Still in the Mix" CD). Even though I can't see who's on the organ in this video, those runs and swells depict Eric's sound.

  • Baby that is Eric,I know his sound anywhere

  • sorry sweety thats leonard maddox on the organ not eric, although it sounds a little like him but eric's playing is a little more cleaner than what you heard on this video .

  • U betta Play that Organ, Homie! Let the Lord use ya'

  • YES! The organist is solid!

  • That organist is none other than Chicago's own Rev. Eric Thomas.

  • i know 4 sure that's Eric i grew up in church w him and he's the baddest although he got a young cat that plays for the church he pastors (greater harvest) named matt jones that pastor eric says is even better than him

  • We still sing this one in church and it feels so good just singing it. Thank you Jesus and Bro. Rollins too. GOD BLESS

  • I love this one. reminds me of my home church. We use to sang this all the time!

  • A living legend. Los Angeles Loves Dr. Clay Evans.
