  • I remember watching this episode from when I was little.

  • Why did Jamal acted surprised when he saw the coded message? He solved something similar to it in that episode with Thabto in the 1st episode....

  • i really want that song!

  • I wonder if the other cast members were mad that Jamal got to shoot in London while they were back in NYC!

  • Wise Rita is one ugly chick!

  • "nosy kids!" wtf?! HE was the one getting in THEIR business!!!

  • You need to add these 4 episodes, I AM BLUE, remaining over a barrel parts, 4 days of a cockatoo, and return of the slime monster episodes to your playlist! Then you will have the entire series!

  • It's sad that one minute they had the budget to film in England and the next, they had no funding and had to be cancelled!

  • is there a reason why when the guy ran into jamal, he didnt continue into that direction? he just turn around and went that way. couldnt he just gone that way at the beginning?

  • Becky had to remind Jamal that in England, everybody drives on the left! Good thing he didn't get hit.

  • holy shit i remember that song

  • Okay, that was such a fake fall off the bike. Lmao!

  • i want to get this song

  • man i had this book it was blue and had they pic on the back but they looked older in the pic

  • 2:09 wtf

  • @malique95 lol

  • They shouldn'tve showed the viewers inside the lives of the villains. No more "Hmmm, who could it be?" Same for the next arc.

  • why does this seem to only show up to the paper hat?

  • I remember when io saw this episode as a child it was the first time i wanted to travel starting with London

  • maybe its me, i thought the british chick was hot back in the day.

  • @gojenson She's pretty. I thought her and Jamal had good chemistry.

  • @gojenson haha, same here. i thought she was pretty fly.

  • Haha Ghostwriter was trying to be in the picture.

  • why is Jamal in london?

  • @kitakaoin131 Because he and his parents went to London for Christmas vacation.

  • Oh man, I used to love this show. I can't figure out why now.

  • @britcat84 can't figure out why? you loved it because it's AWESOME!!!!

  • I loved this miniseries in London! I remember the song..."runnin' 'round in London..." Man, I must have watched this miniseries at least 5 times!

  • the guy fixing the spice rack is Guber from Boston Public!! the asst principal..lol

  • Interesting that arc was done in Dec/ 1993, but not aired until Oct. 1994

  • Anybody now that song in this clip? Running Running the town ...

  • Go Jamal! Ebony & Ivory!

  • Anyone see when Katie Couric interview Lenni and Jame?

Ghostwriter 3-peat Special: Katie Couric visits the set and interviews Lenni and Jamal during breaks of the re-run of the entire 'Am I Blue?' story arc. Most PBS stations aired the special the week before or the week of pledge drive time, when the stations normally pre-empted Ghostwriter for two weeks.

  • Glad Jamal's moved past Jasmine. She wouldn't be too pleased to hear he's touring london with an English chick.

    :p

  • @nahor88 In My Opinion This British Girl Is A Young Kate Winslet

  • The title of the story is a version of the famous novel "A Tale Of Two Cities", by Charles Dickens.

  • I hate when they reveal "whodunnit" in the first episode. They did the same thing in the "Into the Comics" arc.

  • I remember looking at a TV guide in the newspaper back on May 8, 1994, that this case would start that day. Instead, they showed the first part of "Who Burned Mr. Brinker's Store". Then I remember tuning in to Ghostwriter every other week after that to see if they'd ever show this, and then it finally premieres on October 2 of that year.

  • I remember this!

  • I remember this episode. Thanks for uploading!!!!!

  • Why is a girl from London using imperial measurements '200 Miles' and not metric??

  • In my experience, British people tend to use both at times. I've heard British people say "miles" plenty of times.

  • No clue why but yes they still have miles, on the signs and in their cars.

I find this odd cos pretty much everything else is in metric.

Oh and I checked the houses in this episode, they exist and it was all filmed within a short radius. They dip up into Kentish Town and Chalk Farm - all plausible distances from Camden.

    I'm a big fan of realism! :)

  • Because she's telling the truth about the birthplace of the "Beatles". It really is about 200 miles northwest of London.

  • do u have a new eposides of ghostwriter that hasen't been uploaded on you tube yet if so please upload

  • I never saw the episode, but read the book based on it. Cool to see what the characters in this episode looked like.

  • I love how Jamal pauses sometimes when he talks, when he has a good idea. LIke when he says "there might be something inside that will give us an idea of who he is" or wahtever... it's cute, not like, scripted or too rehearsed. good acting.

  • I so envy these actors, they got to do the coolest stuff for the show...make a music vid, be in a comic, go to London...that would have been SO fun.

2:34 is Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson...I LOVE their mysteries. :D

  • I bet the other kids were SO jealous when he got to go and film this!

  • i remember this episode i still love ghostwriter i just wish they still have it on tv

  • Same here for both, I remember this and wish it was still on...thanks to the two users who uploaded, I've watched all of the episodes up to this point. (2 more epis to go after this).

    GHOSTWRITER RULES!!!

  • This is one of episodes I never watched. Thanks for uploading iamaghostwriter2!

  • do u know if Ghostwriter is on Dvd

  • It will be on DVD on June 8th. The first season will come out on that date. Here's to hoping the rest of the seasons make it too.

  • I don't remember seeing this episode. This is probably one of the few that I never saw!

  • Don't remember this episode either

  • oh fuck !!

    i loved that!!

    awesome the memories

  • I loved GW as a kid. I really enjoy watching it now. It was cheesy, but it was good.

  • I remember when this first aired and my dad and I were watching it. We were slightly thrown off by Jamal running around London with a strange girl 'til it was explained he was on vacation. LOL, memories.

  • i still just that song from the beginning of this episode stuck in my head!! lol

  • yeah, me too!

  • lol I use to have a crush on gabby

  • XDDDDD!!!

I used to have a crush on the chinese girl, lol

  • Tram-Anh's Vietnamese, not Chinese.

  • rly? odd. I think in my country she was portraited as a chinese girl (I mean, in the brazilian dub)

  • i still think gabby's cute now, look her up on myspace!

  • does anyone know the song in the beginning of the clip, when they're taking photos?

  • As for the codes, cryptology is a fascinating science. It's been around for thousands of years.

  • Of course it'd be London. Some of the buildings in the beginning would give you a clue -- namely "Big Ben" and the "Tower Of London" (which was once a famous jail).

  • I never knew Ghostwriter went as far as London.

  • Another collaboration with the BBC and the Children's Television Workshop (now Sesame Workshop).

  • OMG i love the secret codes ^^

  • me too!! i used to feel like a member of their team lol. :)

  • thanks for uploading! I remember this episode was the beginning of the end of Ghostwriter. When this episode debuted...they reran this episode for like 6 weeks without part 2...then they did this special interviewing the new Gaby and showing behind the scenes of filming this...then they aired this episode again!

  • cooool

  • and where is jamal visiting ?

  • Think the song mentioned London.

  • London, because that giant clock is the first clue. It's "BIG BEN", which is part of the House Of Parliament.

  • And that castle after the "Fish & Chips" shop is the second clue. It's the world-famous "TOWER OF LONDON". It was first built in 1078, and was once a famous prison and armory, and is now a famous museum which houses the Crown Jewels.

  • thank you

  • (grabs hat gets on bike) "stupid tourist" LOLOL!

  • Do you have the funding with

"Ghostwriter is brought to you in part by Sega"?

  • i remember that one too, the N and noggin played it.

  • "Wise Rita reaps her revenge!" lol I remember this episode. Ghostwriter was too good, wicked show. Thanks for posting.

  • lmao "ghostwriter is brought to you by nike" =]

thx so mucho for the post :D
