In Canada Bell is the carrier - do not waste your money you cannot even watch this video on it because the YouTube app has move beyond the 1.5. os. Wait until the 2.1 os is offered on another phone. I purchased this phone big mistake. You cannot download Google Earth because 1.5 does not support it. The list goes on.

The rotation functionality is what I missed most in HTC Hero - you can turn change the position from portrait to landscape by rotating phone left. and on samsung the effect of changing is better. Still Android is fresh and needs many improvments. But I'm quite happy with my htc hero

Secondly, some people don't mind not having multi-touch. There's many ways to zoom and do things without multi-touch. I would rather hold the device with one-hand and scroll and zoom with the thumb of that hand.

I think this will be my next phone. I would like a iPhone (I was a MAc addict years ago) but I hate them for the fact that you can't sell the iPhone without a contract. You have to become client of T-mobile (Netherlands).

I don't think this is right. I love android because it's opensource, and it's the future. This phone (i7500) has superior screen and reasonable camera.

Hope it will b e available here soon.

i would recommend this, am not 100% sure but am sure it will cost half of a cost of a iphone and nearly exact futureset ;)

it also runs a open operating system and is upgradable to 40GB of storage, 8GB internal + 32GB MicroSDHC

compared to only 8GB or 16GB on iphone 3GS

this phone also got OLED screen

cant wait to test it in stores :)

i also forgot to say this phone has a 5 megapixel camera nearly twice that of an iphone 3GS

so this i7500 is a clear winner on image quality

Well, the iPhone 3GS' processor is twice as fast as the I7500. The I7500's camera is twice as good as the iPhone's, plus this phone has flash. This phone also has more memory, and a better screen. But the iPhone has multi-touch, whereas I don't believe Android phones have multi-touch. (Apple threated to sue Google if they made Android with multi-touch, it totaly tanks.)

IPHONE 3Gs is faster Bigger screen and multi touch

Samsung is better screen more space and open source

I have yet to see a 32GB microSDHC card for sale. Have you? Sandisk has one coming, but it's rumored to cost over $300. I'm excited about the I7500, but to get "40GB" you'd have to spend more than the phone will likely cost. 24GB is more realistic. In other words, this is not an "iPhone killer". Other than the OLED screen, Apple (unfortunately) has the clear advantage. Hardware wise anyway. Personally, I'd take Android even with lesser hardware.
