  • Nice!! :)

  • Definitely not my taste, too harsh and brutal, its ok if they wanna shine but this has nothing of MOZART, no diminuendos or elegant ways to end phrases, JUST MY POINT OF VIEW

  • I don't think so, I find this the best version of Mozart's Sinfonia Conertante I've ever heard.

  • i love these old films, they are oldies but goodies. :D

  • you can critique the tone (which is hard to do on youtube bc of recording issues), the phrasing, articulation, dynamics, rubato (well, maybe not in certain historical periods), tempo chosen, etc....intonation is important, but this is a live performance by living people, not a studio recording redone and touched up nor something played by machines who have 100% precision.

  • yea the soloist look kinda boring. but its unquestionable they both have an awesome tone. but the comments are right i would like to see more dynamic expression. i think this one has the best intonation out of the ones ive seen

  • This is good, but one of the more boring professional performances I've seen.

  • How do you mean, "boring"?

  • That's right. Boring like hell. You can't really say anything. They play in tune and together, but no music. Violist is play a bit better them violinist.

  • sounds good but i wish i could see the soloists more... i have to play this and i just realized how screwed i am. but its an awesome piece.

  • Well - that's not bad..

but look: Harry Potter is the conductor!!

  • Ha-ha... :-)

  • auhauhaaauhauhahauahuh

    comedy

  • The performance of this piece is a bit too tepid for my tastes. I'd prefer it done more passionately actually. Still, the soloists are superb. Just I wish it had more "umph" if you know what I mean.

  • okay...so who was filming this and why are we looking at resting horns when soloists are playing...LOL

  • Cameraman must be a horn player (:

  • I think Stern and Zukerman's was the best I have seen, but I can't find them playing this first part.

  • That is quite an ugly dress. Great composition though!

  • if they took the corn cobs out of their butts, it would be nice..

  • Figura2000 are you retarded? Why did you tag this with Bartok, piano, Richter, flute, Bach, etc. Good Lord.

  • wonderfull!

  • jayjay925, were you also stuffed into lockers AND given wedgies at the age of fifteen?

    just wondering.

  • yeah I know that says april i was just kidding about that august thing

  • how was this added in august 2007 when that month hasnt even come yet?

  • This a lovely recording - it's lush, romantic, and sweet. Unfortunately, Mozart wrote it and this is not the way he wanted this to be performed. I hope that others will listen to Jaap Schoeder conducting the Academy of Ancient Music and playing violin.

  • like it very much!! never heard of her, but shes really good! i find it much better than this vengerov/bashmet thing!
