to be honest with u, my cpu is quite powerful for a computer games, with Sounblaster Audigy 2 SoundCard, but im not sure if it suits the criteria for direct recording or sound processing. haha i'm still try to figure it out now. what a shame, I wish I can play the midi without facing any problem. :(
2 more days before our Battle Of the Band, maybe i'm not going to use this midi for that event :(
@dewatandas yeah, it takes some time to get used to it... but keep looking for stuff on the internet... theres pretty good info around... try audiotuts for midi and VSTs. Ableton Live and Reason have good synths and programming, so keep exploring!
ok , i've downloaded Jupiter 8v2, and ASIO4All,adjusted the frequency but there seems few miliseconds delay each time I press the keynote. it's very hard for me to play along with favorite song, since my input was always delayed.. :(
@dewatandas yeah, it depends a bit on how much processing is going on in your pc, and how much it can handle... so the best thing to do is to buy an audio interface, (such as m-audio fast track) and a midi-midi cable to plug your keys in it.
yeah, using midi controllers isnt the best option for playing your favorite song... =/
need ur help, i bought my new oxygen 49, connect it to usb, install the protools, and then what? what should i do? i did press the key in my midi, but nothing happened, no sound at all :( help me, need any driver, or software to download? :(
ok, so, i actually am not using nuendo anymore, and i think my sister deleted it... =// but i had BLUE 1.6 and Pro-53 as VST plugins on nuendo. and i used the first LEAD sound i found, so, guess u should buy it and try it!
hey bro, if you have a small controller, the best thing is to jump around to play the fun parts. the guitarists wont have all the fun on live playing!
yeah man... as explained on the description, im using a M-audio Oxygen 49.. its great, cuz its small and soft. All u need is a good computer/soundcard and a good vst plugin. the keyboard itself doesnt have any sounds in it..
actully what I meant with the "instrument" was the sound in your oxygen 49 not the keyboard so let me put it this way:what sound are you using in your keyboard and do you know where I could get it?
omg noob ;/

@dewatandas ASIO4All is not very CPU efective... if you can, try the KX project...
