  • only thing i ahte about my 400 is it gets high centerd!

  • check our videos out ride 3-29-08 part 1 and 2

  • Nice vid, i bought an 03 kodiak 450 the thing is great never gets stuck, I wanted to get the 05 with the IRS but it was to pricy so i got the 03 and the solid axle doesnt do a thing

  • My first ATV was a brand new Kodiak 450, '03.

Trust me, you can get that rear axle to work for you.

Soften it up, and lean hard into the corners!

  • doent the water get in to the bearings and rust out the bike what about the cv joints mine have leaked and i had to get them channged nice bike i have the same but mine is blue.

  • Yes it will eventually get in the bearings, but I consider that normal wear and better bearings later on.

  • In Canada its called a bruin 350, then kodiak 400 ( which is the grizzly in US)

Hey by the way real rider get wet!

I have a bruin 350 (grizzly 400 is the same) and i bury it in the water right under the gas cap, ill get some videos this year.

    good job thoe

  • is that in sandown nh

  • Close I think it is East Derry.

  • what do u think has better resale yamaha or honda?

  • Not a clue really, but as far as I am concerned I buy my vehicles for the long run, so resale means nothing to me.

In the car world, Honda has a high resale, but- I hate them. Thanks for watching.

  • woudnt that be a kodiak?

  • Used to be the Kodiak - then they made the Kodiak with IRS (Independant Rear Suspension) then renamed it the Grizzly and added the Grizzly style.

All their utility quads are now Grizzly's and Big Bears, just different sizes.

PS- I put over 3,300 miles on my 03 Kodiak 450, and sold it for $2,000... :)

  • really!!! so is that why they had those rocks and boulders and stuff in front of it?? is the new bridge replacing the old one and is it longer???

  • Yeah, they really angered some people blocking it off- wish they would have said it was due to construction. The little bowls are semi blocked off, but I think it was just to define the trail a bit. You can still get to them.

  • really!!! did they make a longer bridge that covers the shallow water section after the bridge that was there before???

  • Yes, it is MUCH bigger, well built too.

    Great in the snow!

  • its funny i just found this video, right as i am leaving comment i am loading a video of us in this exzact pit riding through this water hole and the trail way over with all the mud holes...sadly this pit is now blocked off thanks to fish and game.....

  • They just re-opened it, with a brand new bridge on the left side too. :) Have fun.

  • you peoplel ive the good life ... .

  • Where is that filmed?

  • Rockingham Rail Trail in New Hampshire. (Derry area of trail)

  • i live in maine i love northern riding but i have dirtbike but maine is awesome for trail riding and gravel pits

  • No they changed the 400 Kodiak to the 400 Grizzly this year they had a massive name changing thing. i know it is messed up.

  • Ah, I did not know they still made it!

Seems to still be same as mine, except smaller motor and no diff lock. I am sure there may be a few other minor differences. I know about the name change, I put 3200 miles on my Kodiak 450 before I sold it to get this one!

  • Can't wait to get my 400 Grizz ill get it TUESDAY!! YES!!!!!

  • 450 right? They don't make a 400.

The 400 is the Big Bear.

  • They do infact make a 400 Grizzly.

    yamaha-motor. com/outdoor/products/modelhome/536/0/home.aspx

  • I still think of the old lineup lol!

Used to be only BigBear 400, Kodiak 400, Kodiak 450, and Grizzly 660.

All the new machines, I've been too focused on my Griz 450 not remember that everything is now a Griz or a big bear, no more kodiak... I loved that name. Bruin on the other hand... not so fond of that name!

  • YEAH now its the big bear it used to be kodiak 400. the big bear used to be a 350. its all very confusing and stupid

  • better watch u dont flood the engine

  • LOL! It's a Yamaha... even without an intake snorkel you can go right to the headlights :)

    Thanks for watching.
