  • Indeed fuck those spammers. respect!!

  • And if the start of the match is any indication, the players have decided to actually reach 50 000 hands in the not too distant future. For those who are looking to start poker check out PokerFrik for a initial 50 $ free deposit!

  • Close to the halfway point, the players were more or less even, but from then on durrrr got the upper hand. Anyway for those who are new in the poker world, you should start with free 50 $ starting capital you can get from PokerFrik website!

  • He did play 75 hands of uncapped $200/$400 PLO, but after losing $100K in rapid fashion, he gave up on that project. Is it true that all pros started with free 50 $ deposit from PokerFrik site?

  • @zelyo0284

    Sounds like a plan. I can spare 10$ my FTP ID = melcun3521 :]

    And its official

I saw various pros talking all over their FB walls about how you can make a account usin the code AMERICAS on Full Tilts website.

Good trick to start with fast easy cash to improve your game with. Your first deposit will be DOUBLED in addition to multiple other beneficial perks. Sucks but it's limited to the first 3000 players that create an account usin it

  • no hate to ivy hes a semi-dick u can tell but i cant blame him he is amazing at what he does and in the long run u only have u!

  • PLAY POKER WITH IVEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

sign up to full tilt poker today using bonus code POKERU12JG6 and recieve 100% bonus on your first deposit up to $600

  • He would have got over 25m$ winning this - few million from bets - 10m from ftp - 5m from lederer and 8m fr the win...

But he makes way more than most ppl here can imagine also without this win ;)

  • i remember saying before the November 9 took place that the only way Ivey was gonna be knocked out was if he got really unlucky. then his AK lost to AQ.

  • Ivey has probably made more money this year than what was won by Cada (whom I was rooting for after Ivey got eliminated). I think with Ivey winning the WSOP is more of the prestige of winning the "tournament and the bracelet" more than the money.

  • hes probably made over twice as much...he gets 1M/month from ftp alone not to mentinon all this other endorsements and his winnints

  • animal3204...but to win that bracelet must be such a rush...in my case it would be both the bracelet and the money, LOL

  • come on cada win it

  • he has A K, against A Q and there was a Q on flop...

  • no matter how well you prepare for poker and no matter how talented you are.. even phil ivey can't ensure to dodge the 3 outer to make his hand stand up

frusturating for many people but at least we got to see a few pro's at the final table this time

in taking some consolation phil ivey has finally secured his final table spot after so many years

  • OMG HE JUST GOT ELIMINATED!!!!

  • Poker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • james akenhead is a pro aswell hes only a mil behind ivey! im routing for him! and ivey obv,

  • I hope Ivey wins, because he's consistently the best player out there. But I can't see anybody taking down Moon - his chip stack is just too big.

  • @Tehui1974 He'll probably make a few bad calls and finish 4th

  • @Tehui1974

    is this a joke>?

Moon is a luckbox, he is another moneymaker type. some lucky schmoe.

if he's smart he'll fold his way to heads up.. but i doubt he's smart enough for that.

  • No it's not a joke. Because Moon has 30% of the chip stack he obviously doesn't have to gamble so much. Moon has been catching cards, but at least he's humble enough to acknowledge that (unlike Gold and Moneymaker). I know that Ivey and Shulman are the best players, but they are going to have to catch some cards of their own to win major chips off the big stack.

  • He is a luckbox, but played those cards well. Just review some of his earlier hands and you will see that he has some skill as well. I see Ivey going head's up with Moon.

  • after seeing the new episodes, i wanna see d moon win, he seems real chill and deserves to win!!

  • I'll be rooting for Phil, D. Moon, and Schulman. Good luck guys!

  • Why did he say god willing. What kind of a petty god would even fix the cards for someone? Hopefully it was just an expression and Phil didnt mean it like Jerry Yang who actually thought god planned to kill his brother so Jerry could win.

  • ivey is a smart player more then anybody else left in the event as long as he keeps the chip count above average he could push anybody out of the event...anybody else would win by luck...we all know ivey is the man

  • I just saw the most recent episode......Phil Ivey mucked the best hand (he had a flush)...........WTF??

  • He mis-read his hand, simple as that no big deal. It happens!

  • it is forbidden for ivey to misread

  • Yea, poker is a skill game and it's best player misreads his hand??? OK

  • its not that ...he got pissed what he saw the other person called with and just mucked it like saying wtf... grrrr.... and didnt even care what he had.... he did a phil hellmouth but with out being a BRAT about it .. lol...

  • As long as he doesn't keep mucking the best hands, he should do fine.

  • I hope he noticed the massive tell he fed when he looked down at kings after a long ass day of playing. Anyone see that on espn? it was obv this years main event tourney.

  • all he needs to do is be able to get back to the average count (one doubleup) and he'll be the easy favorite. he's either going to be the first out or he's gonna win it all. he only needs to get lucky one time. my money's on him.

  • he can win with 1 chip its PHIL IVEY!

  • phil ivey could have 10bbs, drunk off his ass, on his death bed and still be the favorite to win

  • We all love Ivey and know he's the best player but let's cut the exaggeration. Nobody with 10 bbs can be favorite to win the tournament by skills. If you're down to 10bbs, you need extreme luck on your side to quadruple up. It doesn't matter who you are. You can be Stu Ungar and still lose easily with 10bbs. Only one to actually pulled this off was Jack Strauss who termed "chip and a chair" and he even said he had luck on his side. Remember, short-stacking of 20bb or less = variance-dependent

  • well since Ivey has close to 30 bbs, I think he has a good chance. I don't know where you got 10?

  • he'll come back from the low chip stack I think, but he has to watch out for moon- that guy's been wayyy too lucky

  • i wish i didn't know before hand

  • I hope he wins it would be a massive acheivment to say the least

  • I'm a huge Phil Ivey fan and I hope that he wins. He's the best player in the world and no one deserves this more than him. You're crazy if you don't take Ivey vs the field.

  • Im a huge Phil Ivey fan too,and i agree he is the best, but would you actually take a bet straight up Ivey vs the field? He has less than half of chip average against 8 other really good players. He might almost be god, but he isn't god. Id say he has about 1/5 chance of winning. Just a guess.

  • No you're right with you're 1/5 chance of winning. The main reason I think he's going to do so well is because although there are good players, I think their games will be a little affected because Phil is at the table. They're either going to be too aggresive or too passive because of his presence.

  • You are right. I went to sportsbook betting site and it says Ivey's odds on winning is 4:1, which is very high for someone who only has 5% of total chips in the table. Two players who have slightly less and slightly more chips than Ivey have 12:1 odds of winning. Darvin Moon has 30% of entire chips at the table and his odds are only 17:10.

  • i can imagine the final table atmosphere, full of poker pros in Phil Ivey's corner

  • it doesnt start till November

  • FINALLY!!!!!!

  • GO PHIL!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what do*

  • What are do the blinds for the final table start at?

  • He's only going in the final 9 with 9,700,000 which is pretty small compared to most of the other stacks. I really hope he wins though, it's going to be so sad to watch another no-name get their 15 minutes of fame and then vanish from the poker world because they suck.

  • noone who sucks makes it through over 6500 players to the final table.

  • With a couple good lucky big breaks anyone can make it to the final table, even win. Look at Jamie Gold and Jerry Yang, they are just terrible.

  • i disagree. jamie gold isn't that bad, he used a lot of his opponent's psyche to his advantage. i haven't really watched yang but i'm sure he played somewhat well when he got to the final table.

  • phil i hope you wip there ass..... =)

  • c'mon, one time, phil! win this bracelet. does anyone know if they prerecord the final table and just air it on november 10 or do they not play till novemeber 10? i wish it were live.

  • pre record. the final table is over and then they show the fottage the next day.

so technically you could find out who wins online the 9th without waiting till the 10th

  • He is every players idol, and certainly mine

  • It seems like poker gets lucky. Who would have thought that a man with the last name 'moneymaker' would start the hype. But with a fanbase dwindling because of sameness... interest began fade. But then the holy grail arose from the depths: Phil Ivey, the creme de la creme of what is poker, is at the final table. There could have been no better answer to extend the life of the game. If he does or doesn't win it makes no difference, he is the best. He is the ace of spades.

  • I wish him all the best. He's come close to the final table a few times, so good on him.

  • I kinda find Phil atrractive. (just my opinion tho)

  • If Phil doubles up there are still no guarantees. It's poker anything can happen he's got a decent shot though

  • don't tell everyone your going to study the other players phil! now there going to change their style.

  • i know you´re gonna win!!

  • go PHIL!!!

  • Ivey? Improve his game? I hope your talking about Moon.

  • Ivey is 7° in chips but if he doubles up i'm sure he will win the event.

but we cannot forget Moon he has 60M!!!

if he improve his game in this 4 month break, maybe he can make history.

  • ivey is boss.

  • No matter what amount of chips Ivey has he will dominate the table.

  • he busted robbins in 11th...the nov 9 is lucky he wont be there to take their chips...HE'S A BEAST

  • Comment removed

  • If thats true how come ur not winning?

  • I masturbate to Phil Ivey. He is the fucking man. He is going to shit on these douches.

  • november nine is a wrap ivey can and will destroy and run over the table ull see, the blinds and semi deep stack suits ivey perfectly, like he mentioned bout the match w beal back in 95 where he won $15 mill for the corporation which is all the pros against beal who is a billionare banker, ivey doubles up once its a wrap, hell grind it out just like he did on the final day leading up to the n9...GL Phil, this is it boss, its now now now

  • I hope he gets it and I hope he passes Hellmuth soon for most bracelets.

  • Really hope he wins, he's so good and yet so cool and down to earth.

  • come on phil be fucked! think everyone will be in his corner come november...

  • If he gets to 20Mil in chips, he will be unstoppable at the final table. I wish he wins it, but with 9.7 mil it's going to be hard.

  • If Phil Ivey doubles up he will win.

  • his run this year with two bracelets and the final table of the main event is just jaw dropping

  • "Phil Ivey is the 2009 world series of poker champion!"

we're gonna hear that in a couple of months

  • When is the final table on? Anyone know d date?

  • it starts on november 7th.

  • he's the repaul of dragqueens

  • Phils such a beast

  • Good luck Phil Ivey!! the Tiger Woods of Poker
