my two cents...dodge is more made for the road while ford is made more for farm stuff, at least the light duty trucks are anyways. The truck i drive now is not an excellent vehicle for everyday commuting. Its a ford f150 with a little 302 Windsor, sure its a 17 year old truck but its prolly the only truck I've had that's lasted that long with that few repairs. We've had Chevy's and dodges but i honestly think this ford i drive cuts the cake so to speak for a farm truck or for short drives.

we'll see which truck is running around 500,000 miles. My grandpa had a brand new first gen dodge and the speedo broke with 350,000 in 01 and he finall quit driving it last year after he wrecked it. find a 91 7.3 with that many miles

@izuksammy I've seen someone post a comment of their truck having 575k. diesel prices are so high that no one drives them anymore accept for my dad and those who still drive them but my dads got a 7.3 and he's still hauling ass with that truck. It may not have acceleration but it has a shit ton of torque thats for sure.
