  • Very cool!

  • very attractive fan

  • Dang !! I haven't seen an fan like that since my Gradmother was still alive.Might i ask what yr it came from? thx

  • cool, a fan!! *5!!

  • I like that switch positioned on the side. Must make it a bit easier to get to.

  • It does, but you do have to be mindful of the blades (especially in a dark room.) I'd like it better if it were like the 16" version of this fan, that has a three speed switch on the side of the base.

  • Why does this video have such a low rating? 5 stars from me!

  • Thanks man!

  • Real smooth runner. Nice fan!

  • cool spot thats what mine is ah ha! my neibor just gave me a 10" fan that looks just like this but with no badge! and a 16" vortalex both work like new!

  • I have a 10" and a couple of 16" versions of this fan as well. They're great daily runners, quiet and smooth runners. Glad to hear you've got one of thses fans.

  • Great fan - - and so quiet in its running too. That neat triangle badge on the front of the cage reminds me of the old Hudsons as they too had a triangle badge. I love old fans - - have several and use them often.

  • Yes, it is. Signal is one of those brands that is under-appreciated, they aren't really considered "collectible" and were kind of a "budget" fan back in their day.

For daily use though, they do very well.

Thanks for the kind words on the fan!

  • I love your fan with that triangle badge it gives it that retro touch.

  • I like the cage and emblem design too...recently it has been in the 90's here so fans and AC all have been in use although this week it has been cooler.

  • The cage's pattern has a nice, symmetrical look to it. The script on the badge has kind of a "50's Diner" type look to the font as well.

I really am pleased with the condition of this fan, it's pretty much near mint with the original green paint.

I had been looking for one of these fans for a long time, it felt good to finally get one.

  • nice fan and im still very jelous of the nice weather by you

  • We're supposed to get cooler later this week.

Thanks for the kind words on the fan, this thing is unbelievable quiet even on high.

  • makes me want to look for one and it has a cool cage badge

  • The badge is what drew me to this fan. I remember seeing one when I was five, and I liked it.

    Now I've got it!

  • you know now that i have one maybe youll really want to hunt those flea markets. this thing is great!

  • So you're liking yours? I love mine and run it a lot, as a result it is building up a lot of dust on the blades.

  • honestly i have hardly run it much at all yet. ive been alternating between my 1960's/70's eskimo 10" fan and my 12" circa 1918 ge type auu at night latley. let me tell you about a sweet runner! that old ge barely gets warm after running a full 8+ hours. i was skeptical at first but sunday night i turned it on and never touched until monday morning! but my coolspot runs good! nothing wrong with it! exept the missing badge!
