It's a business with brokers, similar to Realstate, Insurance, etc. They are a financial services company helping the middle income america, while most financial services cater to the wealthy. They have just become a stock traded company and are growing in leaps.  Unfortunately there are untrustworthy people in all businesses and I feel bad for those that ran into unethical agents for the, or any company for that matter. And I don't work for Primerica.

Primerica is not Multi-Level Marketing. It is a Modefied Genral Agency. Much like that of a real estate broker-agent system. The only difference is that in real estate, the broker that the agent works for doesn't want that agent to become a broker, because that means that they can no longer make money off of that agent. In Primerica your "broker" or Regional Vice President actually wants you to become and RVP as well. You can actually surpass your RVP and make more money than them.

This is a SCAM. I've been to Primerica meeting, I do not work at Walmart, or pumping gas. I'm a project manager for a building contractor, and have a degree in civil engineering. This is a classic pyramid scheme which makes it seem like you could make money by recruiting your friends and family.

#1 -any reputable company will never charge you to work for them. If anything, you'll have a sign on bonus.

#2 -nothing but hard work and education will make you rich.

100% of the people who don't give up, make it in this business. It's takes shorter or longer for different people. It's taking me awhile, but I'm not giving up.

I am not a Primerica Rep but I was a stock broker for about 10 years. I can say that this company may not be for everyone, but then again what company is? Having said that this is definetly not a "scam". They trade on NYSE under the symbol PRI and they have unbelievable earnings and a rediculous P/E ratio and also very strong insider ownership.
