  • Dear...d colours r really beautiful :) can u plz paste d link here i.e. of Teresas zigzag tutorial?i cant find it :(

  • nice blankets! How many did you chain?

  • alwys put a border it makes it lay right and stronger.

  • @wendyrk55

Nah, in this case the blanket was already laying right and straight. Making a border to a zig zag wouldn't look good.

  • @inlovewithpari

Hey there, no probs. It IS variation 1 Zig Zag - I really don't remember how many chains, I just used the multiple, and eyeballed a size. I used a 4mm crochet hook.

  • Did you decide to put a border on or leave it as is?

  • @BeckyInCa

I left it as it is, I thought the Zig Zag design was enough as it is, and wouldn't need to be "put out", which I think doing a border does.

  • Hi I am a new crocheter and just love it have made lots of baby blankets this year. I would like to know if I could have the pattern to this gorgeous blanket which you have done so neatly.

Hi there, I don't have a pattern I just used tjw1963's tutorial for the zig zag crochet. In fact you can find it yourself at this side at the right bar, it's says RIPPLE CROCHET - VARIATION 1 - ZIG ZAG. If you click on and follow the tutorial, and you'll have a blanket in no time :D

  • The blanket turned out beautiful! Could you tell me what kind of yarn and needle size did you use?

  • @pecanpi

Thanks for the comment. I used needle size 4mm, the yarn was a wool and polyester mix, not thicker than for a 4mm crochet hook. We don't have the same brands here abroad as you guys have in the U.S, so I rarely say what yarn type I use.

Hope that answers your questions :)

  • @JustNaz333 That helped a lot Thank You. Did you use the same needle size & yarn for the Wheel blanket also?

  • @pecanpi

No the yarn I used for the Cathrines Wheel blanket was a bit thicker,

that was wool, but I did use same needle size. :D

I'd like to see you finished result, if you could sent me a pic when you're done that would be cool :)

  • wow i so want to do this i tryed like 4 times from her videos but i cant seen to do something rite,,the edges dont line up got any tips:?

  • @33johnnieboy

Not really, I mean you have to deacrease evrytime, that's what makes it even on the sides.

Does the last Zig Zag go Upwards, because that might be the problem. I did another zig zag blanket where the last Zig zag went upwards, and even thou I decreased it ended croocked. Try make the last zig zag go downwards, deacrease and try again - hope it'll help :)
