Gas was feathered around 1/2 way, and it was just tickling the limiter. The limiter cuts much quicker and faster if its on the limiter hard. Sounds exactly like the two step you hear at the beginning. Sorry if it makes you angry. It doesn't take more than 1/2 throttle to get it there when its in boost and the tires are spinning.

I can hear rev limiter so pedal is pressed to the metal. That definetely means driver is not experienced much and can't control his car properly. if u have just a bit knowledge on engines u should know u won't get best torque and HP at highest rpm. Every engine has different characteristics so basically it's impossible to drive different cars the same way. Rev limiter was made for unexperienced drivers to prevent them from killing their engines by over reving.
At the time of this Video the car is running 850 WHEEL HP .... The pedal does not need to bee all the way to the floor to bounce the limiter. He also set the limiter him self at a save location were it's not a big deal to hit the limiter. I'm sorry but you obviously don't know about modified cars. He first launched the car off the 2 step Launch control, then while leaving a rowdy burnout he did hit the revlimiter a couple times, so what? Means nothin You ever make a 9 sec 1/4 pass? He has

I have my own garage and i'm pretty sure to get 850 WHP from 2JZ engine u have to set limiter a bit higher.
IMO for leaving rubber u don't need 850hp. Better idea is keeping rpm just above turbo point. I'm sorry i'm freakin' out on this rev limiter but just extremely hate when somebody hits it.

And at the same time, If you're drifting - there's so many ways to do it, Maxed RPM loses traction causing the drift. You're a moron if you consider hitting redline makes you a bad driver.
