  • @WESTMIDLANDSGIRL2K11 thankfully not anymore :)

  • Just curious..Has he ever had any Autism testing? Autism has a great range of handicapped. the hand flapping, and jumping, baby noises. They are all signs. My younger brother was adopted age 3 and we have been trying so hard to get answers as to why he could not speak, wouldn't respond to his name, ect. He is now 6, im so glad my family has fought so hard for the answers we despretly wanted. Don't give up :) Fight for answers! I wish your brother and family the Best!

  • He's sooo good looking!!

  • Best wishise to you, your brother, and your family. He reminds me of many of the children I work with. They really make life special

  • did someone write a horrible comment on here? cause I can't find it now.

  • @cindy1000000 ya someone wrote some really nasty stuff about him on my profile though. I blocked them :)

  • @serbiangirl29 Oh,I think I know who it was that person gives me trouble too so I blocked him aswell, people like him are silly anyway they don't have the brains to relise its not is fault so they have to be nasty about him and laugh at him which is the wrong thing to do aswell did you report to youtube for it? Btw,is it the new year where you live yet? It is here in England.

  • @cindy1000000 I don't think u know who this person is cos it happened a few years ago.. before I knew you :P And ya I think I did report her and my friends chirped her too :D I'm still living in Niagara Falls.. mehh so what part of England do u live in?

  • @serbiangirl29 Ooh,I thought it was somebody else, cause they responded to one of my comments on here and when I looked it wasn't there anymore.I live in the part of England Called the West Midlands I don't know if you would of heard of that cause not many people who don't live in my area or no where near it have heard about it and the town I live in is Tipton,I think there is a town called tipton in america somewhere aswell just like in england where i live.

  • Just wondering,what is seizures?

  • @cindy1000000 is a general term that refers to a sudden malfunction in the brain that causes someone to collapse, convulse, or have another temporary disturbance of normal brain function, often with a loss or change in consciousness.

  • @serbiangirl29 Oh,sorry to hear about that.Hope you don't mind me asking but when you said something about brain function is that why he like as the illengence of a 4 year old or something? (sorry if it sounds abit funny)

  • @cindy1000000 We honestly don't know :( the seizures most likely did not cause the problem.. they were a symptom.

  • @serbiangirl29 Ooh :(

  • How can 2 people not like this? God,some people don't understand at all.

  • @cindy1000000 I was wondering the same thing too :S

and yes most ppl have no clue what people like my brother and u have to go through.

  • @serbiangirl29 I know some people am so crual and it also annoys me if some people have something the matter with them like this and they start doing things like shouting and screaming or unusual movements that other people don't do and some people start laughing and sniggering about it and I say in a load voice so they can hear that they need to grow up and its not the persons fault.

  • was this christmas 2008?

  • @cindy1000000 yup :)

  • @serbiangirl29 OK :)

  • what does P.P.D stand for?

  • @cindy1000000 It's P.D.D. :) and it stands for pervasive developmental disorder.

  • @cindy1000000 It's P.D.D. :) and it stands for pervasive developmental disorder.

  • @serbiangirl29 oh ok then :)

  • what is the matter with him? (Just asking ok?) cause of the end of the video.

  • Your video was very touching...I hope they will find a cure for your brother one day, or at least a diagnosis and treatment plan. I wish you both the best! :)

  • That was a very nice movie. I have a nephew with autism and even though your brother doesn't have it,I know that it's not easy to be related to someone with special needs. You wished that they could just tell you why they where crying and why they were so upset, but at the same time, you wouldn't like them any other way. Your brother seems like a very beautiful young man and I wish him and your family the best. -Michelle

  • thank you so much for that comment.

you described exactly the feelings i have about my brother. i hope one day your nephew and my brother will be able to live a life free of pain and frustration.

we share the same name :)

  • Your very welcome and I didn't know we had the same name. Cool :)

  • I am sooooooooooo glad u put the video up.

  • have u gotten him tested for things like autism

  • yes, he has been tested for autism and he doesn't have it. the only thing we know he has is P.D.D.

  • @serbiangirl29 I suffer from Autism.

  • you said somthing about a cure isnt that kinda thing related to brain actvity etc

stange thought maybe they could shall i say rewire brains you know all that science and medicin can do they could probly find a cure or a way to help it etc

  • actually they don't know very much about the brain, unfortunately.

  • this is a wonderful and inspiring video.

i work with special needs adults and it's so rewarding. you are so blessed to have him in your life.

  • thank you :)

and I know I'm very lucky to have him in my life.

  • your brother seems like such a beautiful person.

i one day hope to work with special needs children.

    :)

  • thanks :)

  • @JellyBeanMakeup Good for you! I'm a special educator (almost have my degree) and a scout leader who have the privlage and honor of being able to help children with special needs. I'll tell you first hand, it's the most wonderful job in the world. You will never understand what an uplifting job it is until you get that oppertunity! Best wishes in your endevors!

  • Your brother is very nice looking! When you said he vomitted all the time, it rang a bell. My son used to as well. I was very happy to hear you took gluten/casein out. We took these out along with food dye and the vomitting completely stopped. My son has mild autism. Have you checked into mitochondrial dysfuntion? My son has this as well. Did your brother have a vaccine reaction? Seizures and gut damage are very common side effects. Makes me sick. God bless you and your family :)

  • Thank you for your input :)

My dad has heard of mitochondrial dysfuntion but does not think he has it.

My mom noticed a change very early on in Nicky's life after he had a vaccine.

We think that's what caused the seizures and probably everything else. (But of course the doctors don't agree.)

  • Yeah, they won't agree of course. My son had a reaction to his Hep B vaccine on day 2 of his life. His immune system was shot and he was sick all the time. As far as mitochondrial issues, TONS of people with autism have this. Kids with mito are NOT supposed to be vaccinated, yet kids are not tested for mito. Doesn't quite make sense. The arm movements he does are quite common in autism. For mito, the treatment is carnitine/CoQ10 (over the counter vitamins). It helped my son. Google Hannah Poling

  • I googled Hannah Pooling. A very interesting story- too bad we all can't win our cases. For some reason carnitine is not sold in Canada. But when my mom and I go to Florida in a few days we will probably purchase some there. Again thanks for your input.

  • Does he have OTC defiency?

  • I have never heard about OTC before :(

    and had to google it.

But I still would not know if he has it.

  • It's a genetic liver disease. Basically when you have OTC, your body can't break down proteins correctly because the liver is missing an enzyme(s). It is highly unlikely that he has lived with it this long as most boys die very young. But it can cause cyclic vomiting symptoms, seizures, dizziness and if left untreated strokes ( which result in brain damage), coma and death. One way to determine if your brother has is to talk to a geneticist, that's how we found out!

  • Yes when I read that most boys die before the age 5; I thought it wasn't very likely he has it. My brother has been to a geneticist before; and they didn't diagnose him with anything.

  • Serbiangirl you are a beautiful person! Im sure your brother is really proud of having a sister like you : ) I send you a big hug ; )

  • he's so cute! :)
