Where was the McDonald's in this video? The whole point of the song is that it's supposed to create the sense of the kind of sad bliss of being in a McDonald's late at night after walking the streets. I understand songs are up to interpretation but I mean, c'mon.
@warlocksarewatching The mood I was trying to achieve here is more influenced by the actual lyrical sample than the literal title of the track. Thant being said, I understand what the general interpretation of this song is…I’m merely giving a visual to what has led to the late night walks of reflection and “sad bliss”, that have inevitably led Burial into McDonald’s. To me, it's a loss of someone or something.
@theaccidentalpoet Oh ! What a shame ! I tought that the frozen atmosphere was given because I see McDonalds like a bunch of frozen and chemical food and also I see that girl as the pure consumer interacting with the "food" . Anywaaays.. Nice video man , keep up the good work ;)
Firstly, have some respect for the fact this is a piece of art. Even if it is worthless, meaningless and crap (and i personally think quite the opposite), all its cost you is two minutes of your day, so get some fucking manners. Secondly, who are you to tell the artist what the song is "meant to mean". Thats the point of art, the way we, as individuals interact with it. Finaly, you have no idea what Burial wrote this about, despite what forums might tell you. I want you to find a fucking soul.
@tbagins I'm just saying that taking a different approach contrary to what Burial took is interesting but kind of a disappointment. I like this song a lot so I was intrigued when I finally found a music video and it wasn't what I (and Burial I'm sure) imagined. Stop being a dick and just agree to disagree.
@drfranksy The video is perfect. And there are a thousand other videos that would also be perfect. That's why we love Burial so much... It's deeply personal stuff.
get that subscribe shit out of here !

@warlocksarewatching No, just a narrow minded know it all. Theres enough on the internet as it is, without burial vids falling victim.
