Im a Vietnamese myself and I was surprised to get to know this song (I got to it from your more popular cover of Telephone)... The song, from wat i know, is about "a bitter and disillusioned Australian Vietnam veteran" that fought in Khe Sanh (wikipedia). The war was painful for everyone involved and I hope we could look past it to a peaceful future for all.
