Wow, Verizon has new 4G LTE....try using 4G on a cell phone with Verizon. Good luck with that. They have gay 4G on there laptop cards only. AT&t is getting a 4G phone Sunday..where's Verizon now?
There are countless situations where you would want to talk and surf the internet at the same time. To do that on Verizon, you'd have to upgrade to 4G, and pay the 4G fee. Verizon blows.
He could of probably waited but why wait? I love AT&T for this reason. Verizon is perfect for people who can't multitask. If you want slow internet, waiting for pages to load, waiting for the video to download, get Verizon. If you want the LATEST technology, get AT&T.
