@Physicspilot WIth hydraulics pilot can control airplane by rudder. So without hydraulics pilot can't turn right of left and he can't change altitude. On the video computer id controlling airplane by engines. If left engine is off airplane is turning right, if right engine is off airplane is turning left. Sorry for bad english, i'm Polish.
@Physicspilot the landing would have been a lot smoother. Hydraulics are used to control the flight surfaces, ailerons, flaps, slats, elevators and rudder.
Btw, if the left engine fails the aircraft will yaw left, as there would be increased drag on the left.
How different would it have been with the hydraulics?
