So I wanted a silver color TX7 and bought a silver but after I open the box, it is black/dark blue not silver. WTF? Is Sony color blind or something? WTF I hate darker color electronics, just does not look right...

u can take video as long as u want within the space provided but when u"ll connect the camera to the computer u"ll find video in segments, each segment of 30 mins.

@goodson305 In video mode (mp4 1080p) you get about 30min recording time (20 min. cap per clip). I had to buy 2 extra batteries, check my channel to see what this camera can do at a concert.

to be honest, it will ONLY last up to 3 or so hours. Depending on how long you leave it on. If your going to record a movie. The battery life is less.

Hi. I know this sounds kinda childish, but to me i think that when touch screen cameras can let you draw on the pictures it is really fun. Does this camera let you do that?

thats exaclty what I was saying...TX5 is the latest, but it cant shoot pictures in black/white and sepia modes, and it also cant shoot full HD movies...it's waterproof, but it doesnt have a stereo microfone also...so, i'm sure the TX7 is better!!

I'm leaning more to the Sony TX7 then the Nikon S70 only cause this one do FULL HD 1920 x 1080 video and it comes with a dock. Like O.M.G. So much better and more then the Nikon S70 cause that one only does HD 720

I was thinking about purchasing the tx7, but I went with the new Canon sd3500 14.1mp stills and 720p video. I have looked up the differences between 1080i and 1080p and the tx7 is 1080i (interlaced) which means half the information is missing when recording video. Youtube reviews has placed 1080i under 720p. I'm waiting for Sony to come out with a 1080p, then i'm switching back to Sony. Although, I do love the style of the cybershot, so I'm hoping to see a 1080p come out soon.

i was thinking abot the tx7 but the hx5v is going to be so much better in terms of the lens, picture quality, etc. tx7 is thinner so i think that's the 1 thing it has going for it. anything else that's better? would you guys pick the tx7 or the hx5v? thank you in advance!
