  • Jesus is a huge ass hole..if he were real.

Also where did you get the misfits clock?

  • I've been teaching for 33 years. In my professional opinion, John Freshwater is a nut job.

  • @Brandonbleb I bet you're christian, aren't you.

  • fuck you john freshwater is a good man he desevers better than ppl telling everybody hes a bad man

  • No. You got the damn story wrong.

John Freshwater is the sweetest guy ever.

The fucking kids in mt.vernon are assholes who

    need there ass' smacked.

  • @CDSJ09 I bet you're christian too.

  • @tstalsby509 actually no... im not. I really dont have any religious views. I just think its stupid. I live in Mount Vernon and im only 18 so i know how the kids are.

  • Ur rite. Im Catholic I go to Catholic School. This guy cant teach religion in public school. If he really wants to teach that way he should go to a private school

  • @Celtspartan WAIT HE FUKKIN BURNS KIDS???? HOLY SHIT HE SHOULDNT TEACH ANYWHERE!!!!

  • @Celtspartan WAIT HE FUKKIN BURNS KIDS???? HOLY SHIT HE SHOULDNT TEACH ANYWHERE!!!!

  • @Celtspartan WAIT HE FUKKIN BURNS KIDS???? HOLY SHIT HE SHOULDNT TEACH ANYWHERE!!!!

  • @Celtspartan WAIT HE FUKKIN BURNS KIDS???? HOLY SHIT HE SHOULDNT TEACH ANYWHERE!!!!

  • Your life is pasted all over your bedroom wall. Total crap.

  • What a dumb crazy fuck. i hope he gets fired and murdered

  • Lose the lisp, kid.

  • What happens if the student is a Jehovah's Witnesses, he/she ends up with a pagan symbol on their arm?

  • that would be equally as bad... most definitely.

  • at least the US has separation of church and state.. in Ireland we dont have that... it basically says in the constitution that all members of government and judges must talk an oath that involves religious belief... also teachers must be religious as most schools are run by the roman catholic church .. and Ireland passed a blasphemy law last month too because Ireland's constitution apparently requires some form of blasphemy law

  • I am glad you are making these videos. Keep it up!

  • This whole situation isn't anything to do with the separation of church and state, instead it is about the need to separate ignorant, scientifically illiterate people from the ranks of teachers.

  • lol that sucks for you. We shouldn't have scientifically illiterate dumbasses teaching fantasy in classrooms.

  • your teacher should be fired for teaching crap RELIGION

  • dont worry about these dumb fucks kid it was quite obvious what your point was

  • My buddy had him for a teacher and my friend is gay and that teacher knew that finally my friend stopped going to class cause he couldn't take it anymore

  • hey cum gussling fag why dont you figure out that that isnt a picture of mountvernon highschool and also you say he worked at the high school witch he did but not when this happend he worked in the middle school right next to the science class i was in fucker

  • your hair looks like a hat.

  • Kid you dont know anything about this.... u live in Idaho, why are you talking about this?

P.S. in the beginning of the clip u showed a picture of the OLD high school....... and he doesnt even teach high school, he is a middle school teacher...... shows how much u know

  • Oh yes my geological location plays so much into my intelligence.

Your ad hominem fallacy will get you SO far.

    Oh wait is that sarcasm?

    Oh I think it is.

When you have something to actually say come back and I would be more then happy to argue with you.

  • Religion (of any kind) has no place in the public school system. Seperation of church and state. He should have his job taken away. It's bad enough he would push his beliefs on these kids but when he starts burning them-excuse me BRANDING them that's asault. He should be in jail.

  • That teacher should be fired and have his teaching license taken away - permanently. People like him are responsible for promoting hatred against homosexuals, atheists and anybody else who doesn't believe the "christian" way of life.

  • Your right I can say I got a "best teacher award" because IM NOT A TEACHER.

Besides Im not really trying to argue how well he teaches or not but rather what he did to those students and pushing his beliefs on others.

  • Oh he won teacher of the year I must of been wrong...

I'm sure your opinion isn't biased I mean you only have the name "mountvernon1805" for all I know you could be John Freshwater himself, or even worse some colleague that wants to stand up for him.

He is clearly a religious nut, If he wants to "stand up for what he believes" then he can go do that in a private school that way my tax dollars won't have to fund garbage.

  • You see we have something called the constitution.

Thomas Jefferson referred to the First Amendment to the United States Constitution as creating a "wall of separation" between church and state.

Now I know this might be hard for you but what John Freshwater is doing isn't "refusing to hide his beliefs" but rather cram then down his students throats.

I really feel sorry for the kids that had to endure him as a teacher. I hope this was a valuable lesson for you 'mountvernon1805'.

  • Thecompanycar, you also seem to be missing quite a lot of detail from your 'personal experience'. Your brother (not you) had him as a teacher and the elusive reference to 'the device'. Dont waste our time, they have him bang to rights.

  • I don't think you understand the whole story here. I know John Freshwater personally and my brother actually had him as a teacher. The device that he allegedly used to burn a cross into a student's arm is actually incapable of doing just that. I had a different science teacher at the same school for 8th grade who used to same electrostatic device and I know from personal experience that it's just not possible. This whole thing is rediculous.

  • hhaairrccuutt

  • Freshwater will be sacked tomorrow. 21/06/08 (6/21/08 to you)

  • You were right!

School board members voted 5-0 to fire Mount Vernon Middle School science teacher John Freshwater. Board attorney David Millstone said Freshwater is entitled to a hearing to challenge the dismissal.

Freshwater denies wrongdoing and will request such a hearing, the teacher's attorney, Kelly Hamilton, told the Mount Vernon News.

School board members met a day after the consulting firm H.R. On Call Inc. released its report on the teacher's case.

  • Remeber kid, they are still allegations. The whole electrostactic machine burning a kid is B.S. I've personally touched one of those machines that was at leat 10 times as powerful and didn't leave a mark. The one he used is as powerful as rubbing your socks on carpet and touching a door knob.

  • kittygiagirl, I'm quite certain jonnymohawk used the words 'religious neutrality'. But I'm sure he, like me, is just a little more concerned about the accusation of the teacher branding his students. That, coupled with the accusation that the man ignores the prescribed curriculum (replacing it with one that fits his warped world view), is more than enough reason to thouroughly investigate him.

Perhaps exaggerations have been made, but I'm willing to bet he deserves to be fired.

  • He has been teaching for over 20 years, and this horribly evil man was somehow voted teacher of the year last year? How is this possible if he is the monster you are making him out be be? Oooh, a Bible on a desk...how incredibly evil.

  • People who send their children to school shouldn't have to worry about not being able to trust the teachers. Not just the Christian parents but parents of all religions and no religion; they all must be assured that the teacher is not going to instill his own religious beliefs.

The inability (stubbornness) of the teacher to simply put his bible away seems to show a worrying desire to evangelize.

Several of the other claims are similarly worrying. Actually, more worrying.

    What's your opinion?

  • proof?

  • teacher burns crosses into kid's arms yah I believe that sure. Youtube I guess gives a forum for ridiculous schoolkid rumors to get posted publicly.

"Did you hear what coach did one time? He killed a player for doing weed, i think it was like back in the 80's or something. No, dude I'm serious, you can ask anyone. He was never seen again."

  • If you would have even made the effort to grab a newspaper, watch the news, or even use the internet you would find you just made yourself look extremely unintelligent.

  • Cool, someone that offends without swearing. I stand in awe!

  • I can't believe people like this, and the scary thing is that is happens ALL THE TIME.

Religion is a center for child abuse, I swear to allah.

    Great video [again], Jonny.

  • Burn crosses into childrens skin...because getting them to associate the logo of christianity with pain is Soooooo going to make them view it in a positive light, what a dumbass.

  • It's reverse psychology, genius!

  • @WizardJim Federal judge Gregory Frost had this to say: "Freshwater had been applying the Tesla coil to his student's arms for approximately 21 years, with not one reported injury. Over 600 students, in Freshwater's classes alone, had the Tesla coil applied to their arms without incident. Moreover, two other science teachers engaged in the same Tesla coil experiment with their students, one for over 20 years. These teachers too never had a reported injury resulting from the experiment."
