Jazmine, I really LOVE your voice! Though, I gotta be honest - I wish you had come out with someone else. I can tell you & Missy had a great time recording your album and that's cool, but I don't want you to become commercialized like all these other artists out there just trying to sell records. Your voice (in my opinion) is much too soulful for that. I really have NEVER heard anyone sing like you at such a young age (meaning your old Apollo video). I wish you much success.

Why would it matter if I knew someone that looked like her? The point is I don't think Alicia can sing and she should not be compared to Jazmine. What she looks like is irrelavant. I think she's a beautiful woman and makes beautiful music with her piano. But that's as far as it goes. Like I said, have you heard her intro on the Bond movie (Quantum of Solace). That's not the only time she's sounded bad, but it's 1 of the worse. You never hear her sign acapella do you?? I didn't think so.

Grammy's don't mean anything. She's a great musician & people love her style. I LOVE HER MUSIC. As a matter of fact, she's one of my fave. I use to play the piano as well & I WISH I had her skills. I guess I'm the only one here that agrees with you about Alicia Keys! Her voice is nothing astonishing. For example, take a good listen to "No One." That girl is STRAINING to get that song out. It just sounds painful! It's not that she can't sing, but it's not great. She's definitely got her place in music today and she has talent, but her appeal certainly isn't dependent upon an amazing voice.
