The audience really needs to learn how to shut up esp. in the beginning of the performance. I mean "The Frial" and "The Wretched" are very deep, sad, and a emotional song. They're cheering in the audience like its a Creed concert or something. Rediculous.
Trent is one of the most amazing composers of modern music. Hes similar to Frank Zappa in a weird way the way hes a perfectionist and controls everything and everyone in his band and is always experimenting with new sounds and recording techniques.
Illiterate? Well, he wrote that reply so I'd have to assume if he can write, he can also read. Seems like your the shit head... Especially for insulting someone about spelling and grammar on a youtube commenting board.
i hate when people say things are opinion when obviously it IS an opinion. Is there some new rule you must say 'its my opinion' after every opinion. like DUH its your opinion, who elses would it be?!
No I think that Something I can Never Have is one of the best Nine Inch Nails songs, because it shows us the other side of Mr. Reznor. Sure his songs about selfloathing and how fucked up the world we live in is are awesome but that song just lets him let off some personal steam and it was a beautiful live studio performance. Not that I was there...I wish.
SICNH is as deprsing&selfish as anyother song(pre-Year Ø) M Trent Reznor has written, so your "different side" theory doesn't make sense+"burn" which was about "NBK", is the BEST SONG any1 has EVERwritten. The 2nd best, which Does show a softR moR caring syd, is"And All That Could Have Been"off "still" the bonus cd that came w/the special "AATCHB" live album. "SICNH"=TR btchng a/b being destroyed by the1 he was trying 2sav which is the theme on PHM& until he got"clean",his life.
I saw nin 3 times in 94-95, once at lacrosse Wisconsin. It was such an obscure place that he said "where the f are we?" he also made some hilarious comment about the person who booked it. then he said that he was sick and "don't be suprised if I spray puke all over the mosh pit" strangely, none of us were all that concerned about the prospect of being sprayed with trent puke.
I highly disagree ..Ive been to em both ..And I think With teeth was visual and energetically wise NIN at its best ..
I looked into the story of this arena ..It was to small for nin to set upi everything ..So alot of visual shit was missing ... Anyhow ..watch the DVD when it comes out February ..Youll see that you was way off ...
I was at this concert. It was so small and we were so freaking close to NIN. Trent even commented during March of the Pigs that it was, "one of the weirdest places they have ever played at before." The most amazing concert ever.
This song is a Master Piece! I just love this song. As always, Trent and NIN always out perform!

I love the way Trent screams the chorus in this song.. Sounds like his screaming out his lounges, or as it was his very last words!!
It's so fucking unforgetable!

What you did not hear about that scientific formula that proves one song can be better then another? (sarcasm)

This was the With Teeth tour. 1.) Jeordie is obviously playing bass. 2.) Trent's hair is short. 3.) The date even says december '05.
