The movie rambled so much it was the worst Dracula movie I ever saw, until the Langella/Oldman/Dafoe/Warren versions.

And the funny thing is Nosferatu: Eine Symphonie Des Grauens was one of my favorites.

There's very little bloodshed,no breasts so a PG was the only rating feasible at the time.

Of course,if MGM(the movies' current copyright holder,they own the entire AIP movie catalog)wanted to re-release the original to theatres,they would have to resubmit it for a rating.

It would clearly qualify for a PG-13.

Funny thing is,though,this WAS originaly an R rated movie. Weird,i know. LOL.

this movie so bad, aip picked it up, re-titled it to cash in on young frankenstein. nice to see clip, tho. wolfman jack the narrator? he on old country music channel in '80s? saying he left los angeles because "it's going to get worse before it gets better;" something very much like that. and then he died only a few months later?
