Hey im thinking about buying Empire TW, but i read some reviews and ive been getting mixed answers saying its the best game yet or its a complete epic fail. Most people saying its an epic fail have said its cuz of retarded AI, lots of bugs and crashes and the fact that u need steam to play. But I also read that many of these problems have been fixed from recent patches.

So my question is, if i get this game how do i download these patches that will ultimately make this a good game experience.

ok, you probably won't be able to play it on a laptop unless it's really expensive. Your minimum requirements to run it are 2.4 Ghz. At least 4gb of ram and a few gb on your hard drive. I'm assuming that your laptop processor won't be fast enough or maybe your graphics card might not be good enough. It won't run as smooth, maybe a few lags everytime you move the screen around, but you might just be able to run it good on the lowest settings. Hope this helps.

No don't delete it no need. Deleting it doesn't make your computer go faster, it just gives you more space for things like photos and videos. This game is bigger than medieval total war II so you should just wait to get a new computer or play it on someone els's. Give me the specs of your computer first

If you get it through steam, it should work. Try restarting steam or something. Wait for a while for the download to start, you'll notice it.

Hmm, That graphics card does not fit with the rest :). Get a GF X290 1G or something close to it, since your on AMD. Then you will kick ass on every game for the next 1 year, I hope lol.

These games keep getting more Power hungery by the month. I can't see what speeds we will need to reach in 3 years time, most probably an nano-core with 6 GHz each core and 4 Gb just to run the operating system + 8 Gs to run some games XD !!

I love how the ships in naval battles move, its so realistic and also how that it has 3 types of shots to disable and ultimately sink the enemy vessel. I especially love watching the 2 cannon balls chained together to take out the oppositions mast and cripple them of movement. Their like sitting ducks ready to get slaughtered, and when the enemy ship sinks, how their sailors and soldiers flutter about in the water getting shot at by my men. And what's left are for the fishes. Awesome game!

also how when you point your cannon toward a ship who did a broadside and you could hear the cannonballs shoot out into the air..the sound effects are awsome, but i think CA took some sound effects away from the demo, such as charging and marching...but in 4 days well see, as some reviewers called epic, the grand campaign map

Yeah the demo is still lacking some detail but it was just recently released. Still, it showed how the total war guys kicked it up notch with this one. The land battles is getting complicated too. But the naval is just awe inspiring. I wish they had that feature on the other total war games, maybe in rome. I would love to see a trireme use its ram in battle *sigh*. I can't wait for them release this! Im already addicted. Hope i don't forsake school for this. Ahhh, who cares. Its total war!!!

Yeah i think that would run pretty much every game let alone this one.I mean i run total war rome which has amazing graphics on a laptop that has a stupid mobile intel chipset graphics card and the game still runs sweet but the rest of the laptop is top end stuff to be fair.
