Continuing story from yesterday. The exterminator fumigated at first. Then when he came back to spray, he found some roaches I had protected in tanks and now SLAUGHTERED THEM ALL ON ME!!! After the fumigation and the earlier Raid bombing, I saw thousands of roaches on their backs with their antennae and legs wiggling, looking so helpless and defenseless. So between those experiences and the commercials, I think folks can understand now why I saw it from the bugs side more.

I've left comments on so many sites both about the real bugs and the cartoon characters almost and after MONTHS I've found NO replies on most of them. Now to explain my real roach experience more. Like in the commercials, I saw the real ones lose a lot. The landlord put traps around and I had no luck trying to pull them out. Then he bombed with Raid fogger and later an exterminator ravaged them real bad. Later.

I'll start explaining my unusual position. We never had roaches when I was growing up, but I watched the commercials like Raid with those adorable green characters. They could NEVER win against the Raid no matter how they tried. NEVER. Plus the other commercials like Black Flag and D-Con made it sound like bugs had no chance against any of them. When I finally went on my own and lived with roaches, it was an exciting new experience for me. Next time I'll go deeper into that.

@gamma21285 Because I can look past the germs, droppings, etc. and see their good points. I've said that I grew up watching the Raid commercials. Those cute green characters did some of the cutest things: pattering their feet; sticking their tongues out; hugging each other; etc. But they would lose to the Raid ALL THE TIME!! They made it look like the bugs had no chance against all powerful Raid. Plus the real ones have nice color varieties and wavy antennae, etc. Out of space.

First is their uses like curing cancer, what the exterminator did to my pet ones, and seeing them look so helpless after fumigations. I discussed all that in my 4/5 comment below yours so if your interested further, read those. Plus their SO GENTLE. One crawled up the back of my leg and it tickled.

It's me again. I have a couple recommendations to anyone dealing with roaches to be more humane. Cucumber peel will drive them away. Keep all food and drinks good and sealed and clean up any spills. There is a kind of plant that can drive them away. Have to read the book i got that out of to say what it is. Why am I so adamant about advocating for them? I will explain that little by little as time goes on. If I take great care in explaining my position, it should accomplish my mission.

This will likely sound crazy, but can't resist. I know the problems roaches can cause. However, there is a lot of good about them also. They can cure cancer, predict hurricanes, heal bone fractures, pollinate plants like bees, etc. etc. Plus the fact that they rarely ever bite unless they don't find food. Add their bright color varieties and cute, long antennae. I know most people only look at the germs, droppings,etc. but I can look past that. Running out of space. Much more to come.

my house is a lot worse then that, but some times a good vacuum cleaner is the best choice to get rid of the roaches and make sure to put the vacuum cleaner in a trash bag, then the trash when you are done or the roaches may multiply.
